Heroes Season 2 Confirmed
Good news for Heroes fans: NBC has just announced that it has already ordered a full second season!
Heroes is the #1 new series of the US season in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories and is tied for the #3 ranking among all shows in 18-49. Heroes is NBC's highest-rated first-year drama in 18-49 in 12 years, since ER debuted in Fall 1994.
From creator-executive producer Tim Kring (NBC's "Crossing Jordan") comes "Heroes" (Mondays, 9-10 p.m. ET) recently named the winner of the People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama is an epic drama that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities and a destiny to save the world.
They include a genetics professor (Sendhil Ramamurthy, "Blind Guy Driving") in India who is led by his father's disappearance to uncover a secret theory that there are people with super powers living among us. Also featured are a young dreamer (Milo Ventimiglia, "Gilmore Girls") tries to convince his politician brother (Adrian Pasdar, "Judging Amy") that he can fly. A high school cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere, "Ice Princess") learns that she is totally indestructible while trying to relate to her father (Jack Coleman, "Dynasty") who has a keen interest in people with special abilities. A Las Vegas single mother (Ali Larter, "Final Destination") struggles to make ends meet to support her young son (Noah Gray-Cabey, "My Wife & Kids") and discovers that her mirror image has a secret.
In addition, a fugitive from justice (Leonard Roberts, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") continues to baffle authorities. A gifted artist (Santiago Cabrera, "Empire"), whose drug addiction is destroying his life and relationship with his girlfriend (Tawny Cypress, "Third Watch"), can paint the future. A down-on-his-luck Los Angeles beat cop (Greg Grunberg, "Alias") can hear people's thoughts, which puts him on the trail of an elusive serial killer. In Japan, a young man (Masi Oka, NBC's "Scrubs") develops a way to stop time through sheer will power.
Joining Kring as executive producer are Dennis Hammer (NBC's "Crossing Jordan") and Allan Arkush (NBC's "Crossing Jordan"). The drama is produced by NBC Universal Television Studio.

no sorry but a new character adam monroe is the takezo kensai character..
he has the power of spontaneous celuar reconstruction the same as claire only he has dun it so many times he has become invinsible. futher in series 2 adam munroe / kensai kills heroes father. this turns out to b that he wants revenge on all the original 12 in the original generation. these include matts dad, peter and nathans mum, hiro's dad, linderman and others, he wants revenge becos they betrayed him in the past. hope this is helpful.

I know cus i ve seen the eposode and saw syler get stabbed and ive also so seen season 2 episodes which tells us it was peter cus you see sylar lying on a tropical beach being healed

Don't look too deep into it after all it is only Television. Don't get me wrong I love the Show but thats all it is.

The series is about Evolution, Mohinder talks about cockroaches in the very first episode, "they are at the very pinnacle of evolution", and they keep showing up everywhere near the heroes, (and I´ve noticed mostly around or near where Sylar has been, but thats just me).

thats the stupidest thing I have heard. turning into the cockroach, with all their powers they are deifnitely strange, but not so much that it completely fracks up the laws of mass and physics.
the cockroach is a metaphor that is all, was mentioned in the very first episode and is a theme.

You right about one thing, Sylar is also the cockroach.

I think that Sylar transformed into the cockroach just after Hiro stabbed him. And Suresh opened up the sewage drain in order for the cockroach(Sylar) to get away.

i think the cockroach is a hint, u c remember how we found out earlier that sylar has a nack 4 figuring things out well that mite b a power cuz in like ep. 12 or someting sylar saw a roach and roaches can survive for 4 weeks w/out its head and stuff so sylar coped the roach and he lived

when the goon says true power, i think he means how he's hiros dad, and asian people respect their elders a lot more than americans (OBVIOUSLY im not saying other people don't respect elderly, but asian people especially japanese people have a very important respect for the older generations)

UMM HELLO??? Nikki has superhuman power dumbshit, and nathan is can control his powers VERY well, he has plenty of time to fly away while leaving peter behind to blow up by himself, although that may sound selfish. Parkman can hear thoughts, though it isn't very useful in fighting Sylar, it still helped the crew to get info on what they needed, like RESCUING HIMSELF OUT.
Hiro couldn't have teamed up before, because he didnt know how to control his powers:
examples:
he saves the girl from the truck, but he starts time too early, nearly missing the bus.
He says he needed the sword to control his powers
His powers can't be used whenever he wants at the beginning. and yes, he could've just stopped time and stabbed sylar in the end a million times, but then what would be the point of being a hero when you just stop time and do whatever you want?
and one last thing, people don't THINK it's an explosion. It's in the air, high up, and the air compresses everything. so they think it looks like a huge amount of fireworks.

of course peter is alive. have you seen the promotional poster for season 2 where the background is like the world's biggest map? peter as well as nathan and sylar is there.
also, micah is going to live with his relatives who also has kick-ass powers.
claire will have a bf who has the power to fly and no this is not some incestuous brother-sister relationship considering her dad can fly.

Well, I personally think that the cockroach is an allusion to the idea that Peter may or may not still be alive as well. After all, the cocroach is well-known for being able to survive nuclear holocaust. I doubt that Nathan is still alive, because I don't believe that he would take the risk of letting Peter go, but I strongly believe in the Possibility of Peter returning to the show (although not in the first few eps, because that would totally kill the suspense). Just my perspective...

I dont care what any of you losers have to say that dont like the show, but I personally think that Heros is one of the best shows on tv right now. Its not some teenage love drama bull ****, or a stupid reality show about whore putting their pussy in everyones faces. Its a good show with a good plot line and lots of twist that keep you interested, and I for one and glad there will be a season two. Im sure it will be even better then the first.

Kensei at the end is obviously Hiro's father. I personally think Hiro controls time because his father could be immortal. In the story of Kensei he cuts into his own heart and hands it to the dragon. The Dragon could be a symbol of his power that keeps him alive. If you notice when Hiro and Ando were captured by his father goon, and the same goon went on to say that his boss has true power.
