Fatherʼs Day has got to be one of the lamest holidays. Nobody gets the day off, the presents are always half-arsed, and if you actually are a father it seems inappropriate to ask your wife for celebratory sex. (We donʼt know why, but it just is.)
To add to all that, most of us kids are pretty useless at even remembering to buy the old fellaʼ a present, meaning he misses out completely, despite the nationʼs retailers shoving it down our throats at every opportunity.
So, to make things a bit better for Dad on his special day, ManSupplies.co.nz are offering a special Fatherʼs Day subscription package that will guarantee he gets a present for up to the next four years, no matter how slack you are at remembering.

Maori artists on show on Maori Television
A moko artist, a composer and a celebrity chef are just three of the artists profiled in the new season of Maori Television’s art show KETE ARONUI – starting September 19 at 8:00 PM.
Now in its eighth year, KETE ARONUI covers the creative spectrum - from carvers and film-makers to writers, painters and glass blowers - to get to the heart of Maori art.
A unique blend of culture and creativity, the show pays tribute to contemporary Maori artists, but also celebrates the traditions and culture that makes their work Maori.
Each of the 13 half-hour episodes focuses on an established or emerging artist as they talk about their life and work, their passions, achievements and aspirations.
This latest series of KETE ARONUI, produced by Kiwa Productions, kicks off with a profile of acclaimed photographer John Miller.

Former One News reporter Kris Faafoi has announced he will run for the Mana seat north of Wellington in the upcoming by-election.
Faafoi, who is currently the Labour press secretary, said he would quit his role should he be successful in his campaign.
The date of the election depends on when incumbent MP Winnie Laban leaves her post, as she has accepted a role already at Victoria University.
Faafoi has said he will continue in Laban’s footsteps should he be successful.
"I personally want to continue the kind of politics that Winnie has used over the last 10 years, she's been a really community spirited person in there and I am excited about getting into that kind of politics as opposed to the parliamentary side of politics which I know well," he said.
