New X Factor host named
Home and Away actor Luke Jacobz will replace Matt Newton as the new host of the upcoming X Factor Australia it has been announced. Jacobz, who plays cop Angelo on the Aussie soap, will take up hosting duties on the reality talent show which kicks-off in NZ at the start of September.
Aniston to guest on Cougar Town
Jennifer Aniston has been confirmed to join her fellow Friends cast member Courtney Cox on Cougar Town in the upcoming second season. Aniston will play Jules’ (Cox) psychiatrist in the season premiere.

In the LA office of the FBI, Special Agent Don Eppes and his team investigate critical and baffling crimes with a special edge. That advantage is Don's brother, Charlies Eppes, a brilliant universalist mathematician who uses the science of mathematics with its complex equations to hunt the most tricky criminals.
Season 3 sees Charlie and Amita intensify their relationship, as do Larry and Megan, especially after Megan's kidnapping.
Amita has troubles adjusting in her new role as a CalSci professor, and Larry announces his leave of absence, which greatly distresses Charlie.
Dr. Mildred Finch, the newly-appointed Chair of the CalSci Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy Division, initially troubles Charlie and his colleagues, as Alan dates her.

Olivia Wilde to leave House
House actress Olivia Wilde will be absent from the hit medical series for much of the next season due to commitments on a movie. Wilde, who plays the role of Dr. “Thirteen “ Hadley, is taking time out to shoot Iron Man director Jon Favreau’s next movie Cowboys and Aliens but will return to House in the future.
New villian for Desperate Housewives
Desperate Housewives has secured a new villain for the next season in Ugly Betty’s Vanessa Williams. The actress, best known for her role as Wilhelmina, will move to Wisteria Lane as of next season with producers looking to fill the gap left by departed housewife Nicollette Sheridan.

Don (Rob Morrow) and Charlie (David Krumholtz) find themselves in conflict over their differing beliefs in this week's emotionally charged season finale of Numb3rs, screening on Sunday, May 24th at 9:30pm on 3.
This week fans will not only have to say goodbye to the fourth season of Numb3rs, but will also bid farewell to yet another cast member.
After Sabrina Lloyd left the series in the first season, Diane Farr stepped in to fill the void as FBI agent and psychological profiler Megan Reeves. But after three years on the forensics drama Farr has opted not to renew her contract.
This week's season ender titled "When Worlds Collide," will see Megan face a crisis of conscience and leave the team to pursue another occupation.

Inspired by actual events, FBI Agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow, Northern Exposure) recruits his mathematical-genius brother (David Krumholtz) to help the Bureau solve crimes, providing unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing crimes.
Season Returns
Sunday, January 25th at 9:30pm
Numb3rs, returning on Sunday, January 25th at 9:30pm on 3, sees David Krumholtz portray Charlie Eppes, a mathematician at a fictional university called Cal Sci.
But even though Charlie is a Cal Sci professor, thus far the storylines have not allowed him to be seen teaching, and that's one aspect of the series both Krumholtz and the producers would like to address.
"The network is worried that going into the classroom might be boring and over people's heads,” Krumholtz explains to the US TV Guide. "We're just trying to figure out a fancy way to do a classroom scene that would apply itself to the crime."
"I would like to see him teaching as part of a story and something comes to him in the course of teaching," Numb3rs creator Cheryl Heuton adds.
