The shenanigans of the Wests continue with some possibly shocking results when New Zealand’s favourite comedy-drama, Outrageous Fortune screens on Tuesday, July 29th at 9:30pm on 3.

This week sees Van (Antony Starr) and Munter’s (Tammy Davis) Tool Guys business facing some tough competition in the local handyman trade. Their management skills and work ethic leave much to be desired and Loretta (Antonia Prebble) seizes the opportunity to take over the business.

“The Tool Guys could have a pretty viable business, but just need to sort themselves out,” says Prebble about the possible take over.

“Loretta sees she could make some money out of them because they’re pretty stupid. Van and Munter won’t really be able to fight back with any sort of logical reason against her so she sees the opportunity in front of her and decides to go with it,” she adds.

While Loretta is planning the takeover, all is not well between Wolf (Grant Bowler) and his new lady friend, Sheree (Tyler-Jane Mitchel). Sheree feels like Wolf is ignoring her in favour of his family and her attention starts to wander.

“Sheree’s much younger than Wolf. So her ideas about how things are are much younger. The self-obsession of her youth makes him realise he doesn’t have the energy for it,” says Bowler of the troubles in paradise.

“He’s a bit tired of telling her how great she is and listening to her ask him how he feels about her,” he adds.

Meanwhile, Grandpa Ted (Frank Whitten) is very concerned about Judd’s (Kirk Torrance) recent ‘dry spell’ and decides to take it upon himself to get Judd laid. Despite Ted’s previous lack of respect for old ‘Slutty Pants’, he can see the connection between Cheryl (Robyn Malcolm) and Judd and does his darndest to get the pair back together…but whether he can succeed at getting these two stubborn former lovers to reconcile is another question!

“Cheryl and Judd have such a deep affection for each other. There is an ongoing problem of both of them attempting to reclaim the moral high-ground over each other while also trying to both find an acceptable way to get back into the sack!” says Malcolm of the possible reunion.

However the question remains: will they or won’t they? And with Wolf and Sheree on the rocks, could there be a chance for a possible reunion between Cheryl and Wolf? Find out when the award-winning Outrageous Fortune continues on Tuesday, July 29th at 9:30pm on 3.
