In search of an old episode of Police Ten 7
Hi Throng people,
I'm wondering if anyone out there remembers an old episode of Police Ten 7 that was aired in or around 2003. It was the episode that featured an incident involving a bunch of "goth" youths drinking in the Grafton Cemetery. One of the members of the group was ranting on about how they are unfairly treated by society... LOL...
Anyway, I would like to know if anyone knwos how I can get hold of this episode or if anyone happened to record it or something. I am desperate to get my hands on it!
TIA
Stella.
Some random thoughts on TV lately
- Anyone notice Libby's hair on Shortland Street lately has been to die for? Amazing!
- Oliver = Joey 2.0 on Shortland Street, but Oliver is nowhere near as good as Joey. Oliver = medical professional who secretly experiments treatments on patients to aid his research and doesn't mind if they die. Joey = medical professional who secretly operated on patients to aid his skills and doesn't mind if they die. Both had dead ex-es.
Joey was better because: 1. we got to know (and like) him before realising he was secretly Mr. Evil. Some of us even felt sorry for him. 2. there was huge mystery and suspense.Read more
Always blow on the pie
There have been a number of moments on television in 2009 that have played a significant part in New Zealand pop culture. The most memorable, up until this point, was Paul Henry's moustache on a lady comment. However, this little beauty from Police Ten 7 is all over the net now.
Congratulations to Screentime seeing the benefit in having their content on You Tube and enabling one of their shows to be the talk of the town.

Police Ten 7, TV2's top-rating, crime-busting show is back, featuring more action from the frontline, more current cases to solve and more crime 'hot spots' from around the country.
The last season ended on a high note with one of the best Police Ten 7 strike rates to date. Five wanted people were featured on the 2nd of July, facing a variety of serious charges including methamphetamine for supply, breach of prison release conditions, and two men wanted for separate bank robberies. All five were located and put behind bars by Saturday afternoon - only 48 hours after appearing on the programme. Police have directly attributed all five arrests to information received to the tip-off line after the show went to air.
The programme's presenter, Detective Inspector (ret) Graham Bell, says that the secret to the series' crime-fighting success is simple.
