Prison Break cancelled
It's a decision that many have been expecting since the second season after it seemed the show was being ludicrously bled for every ounce of ratings it could muster but it's finally been announced. Prison Break will not get a fifth season.
Fox has four episodes left to air in the US but has hinted that several extra episodes may be shot to tie up any loose ends.
How do you feel about the series coming to an end?

Your all raving Mad, Prison Break is the only show worth watching. to the rest of the crap that we have to watch. I would watch this serious again and again. Bring it back....My TV doesn't even get turned on now. So disappointed no words can express how bored I was last night turning my TV on with a bowl of Ice-cream, to sit there flicking and flicking through the channels.....Where is it. My only TV show that I have any interest in. One show, that I really like out of hours and hours of ridiculous shows and you pull Prison Break. You're seriously all strange...Someone is not doing their job correctly..Cause I know this show is loved more than the other crap that is forced in our faces. Bring it Back...It'lis awesome...xurizaemon

really just makes it look like he was photoshopped into the graphic - yeah, duh, i know, that and the mismatched shadows
perhaps he's tapdancing his way to freedom, again
prison break is macgyver + a-team for the kids who grew up on those two

The more I see of this season, the more I know this has to be the end of it!!!!

As far as I am concerned, at the end of season 2, they got on the boat and sailed off to freedom. Which is how it was supposed to end, before they realised there was more money to be made.

I've loved Prison Break - and never missed an episode and right though from the very start, waited in anticipation for the next one.
But even I have to admit that it can't go on any longer.

While the somewhat outlandish plot twists seem pretty stupid on paper, they really did fit the show and the characters and the giant conspiracy behind it all. But, season 4 was probably a fitting time for it to end anyway, I'm going to miss it but I don't feel that it ended too soon or too late. I just hope they finish in style and stay true to the characters instead of getting manipulated by some network exec who wants a big bang finale.jhjh2000

About time. When I heard the second season was being dragged out, I lost all interest. Then to hear they went back into prison—it was one prison too far. Typical Fox though, bleeding a show till it became totally tiresome. (Meanwhile, shows like Journeyman get killed after 13 episodes.)
