I thinks she's OK as an actress, but I think the guy who plays her husband is a lousy actor. He sounds like he's speechifying from a stage. I had my TV on 2 the other night & his speech was REALLY starting to irritate me.

The hair is better. And I think she's doing a great job! But sometimes, just in some scenes I picture Laurie doing them instead. And I still miss her - she was realistic, sexy and was a tease.

After reading the last comment all I can say is that there is no substitute for taste. But thats only little old me who thinks that, her figure rocks!!!!!! oh and she can act which is a big plus as far as i'm concerned even on a soap, i mean its not shakespeare. Did I mention her figure rocks ? he he..... I just hope she keeps taking the p*/: out of callum, he really doesnt like that which is also very well played.

Laurie Foell oozed style, she was really sexy, and I kind of didn't blame Chris for having an affair with her. Now I hope Chris stays a mile away from her; Callum too, for that matter!

I wouldn't say the new actress is as horrible as people would make her out to be, but I'd much prefer Laurie Foell. Totally agree with the above quote. Now I just hope the rumours about her departure wasn't true >.<

I have only taught acting for around 25 years, so i guess that makes my opinions worthless.? I do enjoy a good old tit for tat though, just in case you do regard my opinion with some authority, i would like to add that Shortland street will do so much better when the producers continue to recruit the real talent that New Zealnders have in abundace.

But maybe you really do just enjoy watching TK's biceps...I couldnt possibly comment on that of course.

I think she is grrrrreat, did you see it last night? ...just amazing, the last 1 was okay but this change is great, it has got me really watching closely again. It was a fine decision to get a real trained actor.... bring them on !!

This is not an argument. I can only imagine how well you would do? Pfft. If you think she is greeeat then you mustn't know much about acting. Although I'm sure she will improve as she grows into the character more (even last night was better than her first episode), the awkwardness is definitely showing at the moment. Theatre acting is totally different to TV acting, so I'm sure she'll get used to it.

Give it a couple more weeks and then we all will be use to the new Justine. give Lucy some credit. It must be hard for her.
Laurie may have been geat on screen but what was she like off screen.

We shouldnt be bashing Lucy for her hairstyle, its the make up and hair people at Shortland street who make her how she is.
