8:30pm Friday, July 9 on C4

The clock stops ticking for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) when 24 comes to a dramatic conclusion in the series’ last ever episode, screening on Friday, July 9th at 8:30pm on C4.

Earlier this year the 24 producers announced that the series’ current season will mark the end of its remarkable eight-season run. Jack Bauer’s last day on the job will conclude when he is backed into one last trap by President Logan in the final hour of “Day Eight”.

Leading up to this unmissable episode, multiple award-winning series star Kiefer Sutherland reflected on the show’s run: “This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible,” Sutherland told American TV Guide.

“While the end of the series is bittersweet, we always wanted 24 to finish on a high note, so the decision to make the eighth season our last was one we all agreed upon.” But even though 24 is coming to an end, Sutherland says that the series’ finale will not mark the end of Jack Bauer.

“Looking ahead to the future, Howard Gordon [producer] and I are excited about the opportunity to create the feature film version of 24,” Sutherland added.

In the mean time make sure not to miss the last ever 24 episode when the inventive and suspenseful series ends its eight season run on Friday, July 9th at 8:30pm on C4.
