Olly Murs heading to 90210

British singer Olly Murs will make a guest appearance on 90210, performing two songs. The series has a history of recruiting musical acts to perform, with Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz and Billy Ray Cyrus making appearances in the past. Continue reading »

“No plans” for Friends reunion

Friends executive producer Kevin S Bright has confirmed that there is “no talk” about a reunion for the cast. “There is absolutely, 100 percent no talk about a reunion,” Bright told TV Guide. “Maybe they’ll find a reason one day, and obviously the reason can’t be about money and things like that. Other than that, I don’t think there is a reason to do it.”

Girls renewed for third season?

Popular HBO comedy series Girls has reportedly been picked up for third season according to executive producer Judd Apatow. HBO are yet to confirm any future plans. Continue reading »

Leland Orser and Patrick St. Esprit join Revolution
Revolution has two new cast members: Leland Orser, from the Taken movie franchise and ER, and Patrick St. Esprit, from Sons Of Anarchy, have joined the show. Orser will play John Sanborn, a tense scientist who loves to build weapons; and Esprit will play Wayne Ramsey, a tough leader in the rebel resistance against Gen. Monroe.

Glee actor joins 90210 cast
Grant Gustin, who played Sebastian on Glee, has joined the cast of 90210. He will play Campbell, a college student from a rich background. 

Chloe Sevigny to star in new pilot
Former Big Love actress Chloe Sevigny has booked a new TV pilot for American network A&E. The show is a drama called Those Who Kill, and is based on a Danish series. The series, from The X Files writer Glen Morgan, will see Sevigny play Catherine, a detective who works alongside a forensic profiler.  Continue reading »



10:30pm – Tuesday, October 30 on FOUR

This week sees the one, the only Snoop D.O Double G (or is it Lion now?) guest starring as himself in 90210, continuing its latest season on Tuesday, October 30 th at 10:30pm on FOUR.

The episode, titled “Blue Naomi”, sees Snoop Dogg rolling into Beverly Hills to get a car wash, and as luck will have it, Snoop’s biggest fan Dixon (Tristan Wilds) just so happens to be getting his ride cleaned too.

What follows is music mogul wannabes Dixon and Navid (Michael Steger) getting professional help from the big Dogg himself.

Hurricane Sandy halts filming of TV shows
Hurricane Sandy has stopped the filming of many shows that are based on the east coast of the US. They include, Person Of Interest, The Good Wife, 30 Rock, Law And Order: SVU, Smash, Nurse Jackie, The Big C, Jimmy Kimmel, and many others which aren’t on New Zealand screens. It’s also closed cinemas and live shows in many areas. Some networks are also postponing new episodes of shows by one week. These shows include How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Hawaii Five-0, Mike And Molly, Gossip Girl, and 90210.

Anderson Cooper’s show cancelled

Fargo adaptation confirmed

The FX network has announced that it will be adapting the 1996 Coen Brothers movie Fargo for television. A deal has been struck this week that will see the project begin after first being conceived in March this year.

Taio Cruz to perform on 90210 

Taio Cruz has been added to the 100th episode of 90210 alongside the likes of Carmen Electra and Denise Richards. Cruz will perform at an event on the show. Continue reading »
