7:30pm – Tuesday, January 15 on FOUR

America’s Next Top Model is getting a makeover for its 19 th cycle, premiering on Tuesday, January 15 th at 7:30pm on FOUR. Returning to our screens with its first ever “College Edition”, this cycle will see a new judge, a new photo shoot creative consultant and a new viewer-voting component, among other additions.

Gone are former judges Nigel Barker and J. Alexander and photo director Jay Manuel. Joining the judges panel alongside host/executive producer Tyra Banks and fashion PR expert Kelly Cutrone is Rob Evans, a former boxer and model.

Stylist Johnny Wujek replaces Manuel, while fashion blogger Bryanboy and dancerchoreographer Jonte will also serve in a mentoring capacity. Adding to the changes will also be a new judge – the U.S. viewer! For the first time, viewers will have a say in which contestants stay or go home. And, in another new twist, eliminated competitors will be also be given the opportunity to return to the competition!

Forbes Magazine names the highest-paid TV actors of the year
Ashton Kutcher, from Two And A Half Men is the highest-paid TV actor of the past year. He earned US$24 million between May 2011 and May 2012. This includes his investments, film salaries and his reported $700,000 an episode salary for doing his TV show. Hugh Laurie, from House, was in second place, with $18 million; Ray Romano, from Men Of A Certain Age and Parenthood, was third with $18 million as well; Alec Baldwin, from 30 Rock, was fourth, with $15 million; and Mark Harmon, from NCIS, was fifth, with $13 million. Tourism New Zealand has played down media reports that claimed it had barred the haka and sheep from being filmed by overseas TV crews.

It was reported that following the filming of America’s Next Top Model in New Zealand in 2010, Tourism NZ had blacklisted the haka and sheep from being filmed in order to steer crews away from clichés.

Tourism NZ says the claim was taken out of context by certain media outlets.

In a statement made to NBR, Tourism NZ general manager of corporate affairs Chris Roberts confirmed that while the haka and sheep had been mentioned in their report on international media coverage of the country, they were never blacklisted subjects. Continue reading »

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian make a very special guest appearance on this week’s America’s Next Top Mode: All Stars, screening on Monday, March 5 th at 7:30pm on FOUR. This week sees the remaining all-stars model designs from the sisters’ Kardashian Kollection at a fashion show at Santa Monica Pier attended by the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars.

Writing on her official blog, Kim said: “We shot the episode at Santa Monica Beach and challenged the models to a Kardashian Kollection runway walk-off!!”

“They all did such an amazing job modelling the Kollection and it was such a surreal experience to see our designs come to life on the catwalk.”

“Khloe, Kourt and I had a great time judging on the show and we want to thank all the models for making our Kollection look so fab!”

“They all looked SO fab,” Khloe added on her blog. “They had to jump on to a carousel wearing crazy high heels – it looked so hard but they all did an amazing job!”

But it’s not just the Kardashians who are joining the hit reality series this week, LaToya Jackson will also make an appearance in the episode, providing guidance at this week’s photo-shoot and joining Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker and Andre Leon Talley as the guest judge at elimination. Perry to guest in new sitcom

Katy Perry has signed on to feature in new sitcom Raising Hope in a guest role. The singer will play a prison attendant who claims to be a friend from one of the characters’ pasts.

A 19th season of America’s Next Top Model has been commissioned by The CW in the US. The new season will be a college edition.

Heroes actor joins new pilot

Former Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia has landed a role in new Frank Darabont crime drama LA Noir. The actor will reportedly play a marine who becomes a “fixer” for the mob.

Phillippe drops out of pilot

Ryan Phillippe has dropped out of a new cop drama pilot which was called Golden Boy. Phillippe had originally signed on to play a cop who rises through the ranks to police commissioner.

Jackass star Bam Margera has been arrested this week after jumping into a pool fully-clothed during Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans.

It’s all about high fashion when America’s Next Top Model premieres its 16 th Cycle on Tuesday, October 4 th at 7.30pm on FOUR.

Lending their expertise as guest judges this season are model and stylist Erin Wasson, stylist Rachel Zoe and Sudanese model and actress Alek Wek as well as IMG Models executive Ivan Bart, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani and Gossip Girl costume designer and stylist Eric Daman.

This season sees 14 beautiful girls competing for fashion’s ultimate career-launching prize package: a contract with one of the top international modelling management companies in the world, IMG Models; a fashion spread in Vogue Italia; a spread and cover of Beauty in Vogue and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics. Tyra Banks leads the panel of judges, comprised of influential fashion editor Andr� Leon Talley and photographer Nigel Barker. Jay Manuel serves as the photo shoot creative director while Miss J Alexander returns as the runway coach.

The wannabe models visit the Grammy Museum and learn one of them will be chosen to be a Grammy Girl for the next awards show in this week’s unmissable America’s Next Top Model, screening on Tuesday, August 16 th at 7:30pm on FOUR. So far this Cycle, Ann is running away with the competition, having won five straight best photos – a first for the series. The camera loves the awkward-angled gal and so do the judges, but they want to see her shine more at panel.

If the other models are going to catch up, perhaps this week is the time, because the ladies visit the Grammy Museum and learn one of them will be chosen to be a Grammy Girl for the next awards show!
