“Picture a vast lifeless desert, then a tumble weed slowly rolling. That’s basically my love life,” explains season two contestant Marlon Dance-Hooi.

The episode will also see the geeks having to rely on their very limited knowledge of beauty and fashion to design and dress their beauties for a pageant before a panel of very special judges – former Miss Australia winners. 7:30pm – Monday, October 15 on FOUR

The ultimate social experiment is back for its fourth season! Hosted by Bernard Curry, FOUR’s hit reality series, Beauty and the Geek Australia returns to our screens on Monday, October 15 th at 7:30pm. As it’s come to be expected from Beauty and the Geek Australia, this year will once again see a twist to the game – with the introduction of the series’ very first millionaire geek!

As well as this, this season will once again see 10 Beauties and 10 Geeks thrown into a mansion where they will be teamed up to compete in a series of challenges to test their brains and charisma.

There will be plenty of fun, laughter and teamwork along with miscommunication and frustration as the teams bond and struggle to overcome their differences in pursuit of a $100,000 prize.

Each contestant will need to share their strengths with their partner, who will hopefully overcome their own weaknesses, in order to succeed. Viewers will see the Beauties study up on mathematics, etiquette and geography. For the Geeks there will be an action-packed Bond challenge, some fashion photography, flirting lessons and wrestling.

But the question still remains; will the Beauties throw themselves at the series’ cashed-up Geek when they discover his identity? And will the other Geeks see him as a threat and join forces to eliminate him? Find out when Beauty and the Geek Australia returns on Monday, October 15 th at 7:30pm.

7:30pm – Monday, May 7 on FOUR

Introducing a female geek and male beauty, the third season of FOUR’s Beauty and the Geek Australia premieres on Monday, May 7th at 7:30pm on FOUR.

“I love hosting this show,” returning host Bernard Curry (Home and Away) explains. “It has such a warm heart and celebrates the differences between people, so I’m excited to be back for a third season.”

And with the addition of female geek Helen and male beauty Troy, Bernard’s even more intrigued by this year’s social experiment.

“It will be really interesting to see how the addition of these two changes the dynamic among our beauties and geeks,” he says.

But when it came to finding the right contestants, Curry explains that there were some strict criteria that needed to be met.

“The beauties obviously must be, ah, you know, aesthetically pleasing to the eye on the outside then we work on the inner beauty,” he says.

“The Geeks? Their criteria are they must be kind of supremely intelligent, academically gifted, but they may be more socially unaware or insecure than most others.”

“Then we work on their inner insecurities as well. That’s why I think the show generally is about change.”

When it came to the “geek hunt”, Curry acknowledged that it wasn’t a simple casting exercise, but he’s confident the series has found the right mix of beauty vs brains.

“It was probably a little bit harder to find the geeks because by definition they’re kind of less likely to be saying ‘I wanna be on television, I want to be a superstar’. Whereas the beauties are gonna generally have that innate quality,” he explains.

“We looked far and wide in university, libraries, science faculties and stuff like that, and I think we’ve found a great cast. The beauties are just fantastic and the geeks – they’re all genuine warm hearted.”

It’s all very well winning over the heart of the host – but will the geeks be able to conquer the affections of those bronzed beauties to be in with the chance of winning a $100,000 cash prize and a chance at love?

7:30pm – Tuesday, January 31 on FOUR

It’s the time fans have been waiting for – this week sees two couples putting it all on the line in the hope of winning the $100,000 prize money in the Beauty & The Geek Australia finale, screening on Tuesday, January 31 st at 7:30pm on FOUR. As the competition heats up in this week’s finale, one Beauty & The Geek Australia finalist, Thomas Richardson-Smith, isn’t under any illusions that he and his on-screens partner, Tamika Chesser, will ever be a serious couple.

Richardson-Smith, 22, had never kissed a girl before entering the show, but says he got on surprisingly well with the upfront 20-year-old Queensland cocktail waitress.

“She is incredibly bright and bubbly. She has got a wonderful heart and is extremely loyal,” Richardson-Smith explains.

Chesser admits a continuing friendship, rather than a steamy romance, was likely with the sci-fi-loving, Hawaiian shirt enthusiast.

“He is a really happy person and he has a beautiful soul,” she says. “I’ll definitely be calling him whenever I come to Melbourne.” But will the two be forever tied together as the winners of Beauty & The Geek Australia season two? Find out when the series concludes on Tuesday, January 31 st at 7:30pm on FOUR.

7:30pm – Tuesday, January 3 on FOUR

The beauties come face-to-face with two of their greatest fears on Beauty and the Geek Australia, screening on Tuesday, January 3 rd at 7:30pm on FOUR. This week sees comedy ensue when the Beauty and the Geek Australia babes face a creepy crawly combination of bugs and mathematics in their latest challenge to avoid elimination. While for some of the girls, it all proves a bit much, hairdresser Donna, takes the opportunity to learn something new from the experience.

“I can’t do cockroaches,” she explains. “Some people have arachnophobia but I think I have ‘cockrophobia’. Someone told me that they’re going to outlive us if there’s a nuclear bomb, cockroaches will live, we won’t, that’s creepy.”

Meanwhile, the geeks have a very hands-on challenge ahead as they fill in as cabana boys at a five-star luxurious hotel pool bar and use their somewhat lacking coordination skills to learn the art of flaring. In true geek style, contestant Tim tries to turn art in to a science.

“It was very, very confusing at first as I’m trying to vector equations in my head trying to figure out where the resultant torques really need to be placed,” he explains. But will the beauties be able to keep their cool while counting? And can the geeks massage their way through to the next round? Find out when Beauty and the Geek Australia continues on Tuesday, January 3 rd at 7:30pm on FOUR.
