8:00pm – Monday, February 7 on TV 3

Have you ever looked at an everyday appliance and thought I could improve on that? Well, that’s exactly what James Coleman and Greg Page are doing in 3’s brand new series Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger, premiering on Monday, February 7th at 8pm on 3.

Each week James and Greg will take everyday household items, look closely at the science involved in their inner workings, then set about re-modelling them to solve problems created by their inherent limitations.

Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger will see two teams compete to “turbo” everyday objects to their full potential. Each team is helped by industry professionals to rip out all the boring bits, throw in some more power and sharpen the edges.

“Making Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger was one hell of a ride,” explains James Coleman.

“When I think back over the breathtakingly dangerous contraptions we created, how one of us wasn’t blinded, maimed, irretrievably traumatised or snuffed out is simply beyond belief,” he continues, adding: “Actually Pagey [Greg Page] hasn’t been quite the same, now I think about it.”

According to Coleman, Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger is essentially two men in sheds competing each week to scientifically make vacuum cleaners, BBQs, clothes dryers, showers, lawnmowers, juicers and other domestic items bigger, better, faster and stronger.

“Viewers can expect to witness the danger, almost smell the rocket fuel, gunpowder and molten steel, laugh (oh how we laughed) and above all else – learn something,” he says.

Make sure not to miss this when Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger premieres on Monday, February 7th at 8pm on 3
