Chef, restaurateur and food writer, Bill Granger, explores his own back yard, Australia. Part personal pilgrimage, part travelogue his emphasis is firmly on food. From the cooler climates of the south, the tropical and exotic north, the arid red centre and the bounty of the seas, he explores the diversity and physical beauty of his Australian heritage. Along the way he meets various characters who work in the food industry and through their stories the viewer will get an insight into the culinary fabric of Australia and the history of its food culture.
