NZ TV Premiere: Dangerous

the BOX – Sundays from 3 February, 8.30pm

The all new 8-part Australian drama Dangerous is an explosive tale of forbidden love set against the culturally diverse backgrounds of street crime in west Sydney and the affluence of the eastern beach suburbs. 20-year-old Dean (NZ-born actor KHAN CHITTENDEN, Blue Water High) doesn’t care about the future. He steals as he wants, and manipulates as he needs. He’s increasingly confident, and about to become head of his own street gang. Consequence is yet to touch him – but not for long. BROOKE SATCHWELL (Neighbours, Water Rats) stars as Donna, an ambitious young girl working as a ministerial press officer, from the power side of Sydney. Watching over Donna is cynical detective Mark Field (JOEL EDGERTON, The Secret Life Of Us , Star Wars: Episode III), who runs the task force intent on busting the gang. Donna enters Dean’s world as a reticent tourist. Instantly drawn to Dean, she indulges in a mutual attraction and discovers the pleasure of life on the other side of the line. . . This is a world of fast cars, ram-raids and underworld dealings – the rebel land of Dangerous.
