Dead Like Me

I flicked over and caught the last of Dead Like Me, a series I had fond fond memories of, so checked it out on IMDB just to see what the actors have been up to since (Ellen Muth = fark all!) but a TV movie is coming out!

I am stoked, it was one of my favourite shows while it was out, touching, hilarious and quirky.

No Bryan Fuller attached and No Mandy Patinkin (not a fan of him anyway) but I have high hopes!

“After the departure of Rube Sofer, a new head reaper named Cameron Kane takes over. He’s a slick businessman who couldn’t care less about helping the newly dead. chaos ensues and brings out the worst in Daisy and Mason who begin drinking anew. George and Reggie re-connect for the first time when George reaps a new friend of Reggies”

FINAL – DEAD LIKE ME

COMEDY/FANTASY
This Emmy-nominated comedy/fantasy series starring Mandy Patinkin bids farewell tonight with a special two-hour finale.
As George and Rube make peace with their pasts, George helps Delores tidy up the unflattering assessments contained in the late George Lass’s personnel file before it is turned over to Joy. For Rube, it is the distant past as Penny, the natural causes reaper, invites him to help reap the soul of his daughter, Rosie. Mason, finding himself homeless, tries to persuade the other Reapers to let him move in with them.

Halloween is a special and very busy day. There’s a serial killer, a man from George’s past, wandering the streets alongside the assorted ghouls, ghosts and witches, and the Reapers must pluck his victims’ souls before he kills them. Meanwhile, in the land of the living, Joy takes Reggie to a psychiatrist to help her get over George’s death.
