Suspecting your partner of murder, stress over your impending arrest, potentially parting ways with your life partner, and even the thought of ending it all…everything seems to spiralling out of control for the ladies on Wisteria Lane in Desperate Housewives: The Final Season, screening tonight on TV2.

With yet another grisly murder impacting on the lives of the desperate housewives, no one knows who to trust, especially Gaby (Eva Longoria), who suspects her husband Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) may be the culprit. He’s murdered before… does she really think he’s capable of murdering again?

Down the road, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) decides to come clean about her involvement in Gaby’s stepfather’s murder to Tom (Doug Savant), but rather than offering support to the mother of his children over her fears she is soon to go to jail, he is more miffed about being forced to cancel his trip to Paris with his new girlfriend.

Things aren’t much better for Susan (Teri Hatcher), who has decided that her dream is to move to New York to be an artist, and that she is going to do it – with or without Mike (James Denton). However, perhaps most desperate of all the housewives is Bree (Marcia Cross), who, feeling the isolation from her best friends, has decided that perhaps the easiest relief of all, could be ending it all…
