Desperate Housewives

A dear friend meets their end tonight in Desperate Housewives: The Final Season, and you won’t believe who it is!

Susan convinces Mike (James Denton) to go to the police when she discovers that Ben’s (Charles Mesure) loan shark is out to get him, and Gaby (Eva Longoria) is justifiably concerned when Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) exhibits some strange behaviour on his first day back to work.

Meanwhile, Tom’s (Doug Savant) girlfriend, Jane (Andrea Parker), drops a bombshell on Lynette (Felicity Huffman) during Penny’s (Darcy Rose Byrnes) birthday party, and Mrs McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten), who is suffering from terminal cancer, asks Bree (Marcia Cross) to help put an end to her life.

Suspecting your partner of murder, stress over your impending arrest, potentially parting ways with your life partner, and even the thought of ending it all…everything seems to spiralling out of control for the ladies on Wisteria Lane in Desperate Housewives: The Final Season, screening tonight on TV2.

With yet another grisly murder impacting on the lives of the desperate housewives, no one knows who to trust, especially Gaby (Eva Longoria), who suspects her husband Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) may be the culprit. He’s murdered before… does she really think he’s capable of murdering again?

Down the road, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) decides to come clean about her involvement in Gaby’s stepfather’s murder to Tom (Doug Savant), but rather than offering support to the mother of his children over her fears she is soon to go to jail, he is more miffed about being forced to cancel his trip to Paris with his new girlfriend.

Things aren’t much better for Susan (Teri Hatcher), who has decided that her dream is to move to New York to be an artist, and that she is going to do it – with or without Mike (James Denton). However, perhaps most desperate of all the housewives is Bree (Marcia Cross), who, feeling the isolation from her best friends, has decided that perhaps the easiest relief of all, could be ending it all…
