8:30pm Monday, June 14 on TV2

Katherine (Dana Delany) struggles with her feelings for Robin (Julie Benz), tonight on Desperate Housewives, unsure of whether she is lesbian or not.

Susan’s ex-stripper friend, Robin ruffled more than a few feathers when she arrived on Wisteria Lane, however things have taken a turn in a wholly different direction as Benz explains to TV Guide USA:

“Everyone assumed I was going to come in and break up someone’s marriage, but there’s a whole different twist.”

Of her kiss with Delany, Benz says she appreciated Delany’s smelling “very pretty” and not having facial hair.

While the initial kiss came as a surprise, Delany says something real has developed out of it which is exciting for her. “I guessed it,” she says. “I asked, ‘Am I becoming a man?’ And [creator] Marc Cherry said, ‘Close.'”

Friends with Delany since the pair shot a ‘Scarface-like’ pilot together, Benz is unsure if there will be more intimate moments between Katherine and Robin.

“I’m now up to four episodes, but they have an option for more,” says Benz. “I’m bribing the writers with cupcakes.”

Also tonight, Gaby and Angie (Drea de Matteo) head to New York in search of Danny (Beau Mirchoff) and Ana (Maiara Walsh). While in the Big Apple, a chance encounter with supermodels Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova leads Gaby to an unexpected revelation about herself.

Meanwhile, back in Wisteria Lane, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom (Doug Savant) are in for a big surprise when Preston (Max Carver) returns from Europe. Mike (James Denton) is determined to show Susan (Teri Hatcher) what a man he is after feeling emasculated, and Bree (Marcia Cross) discovers a shocking connection to her new employee, Sam (Sam Page, The Brotherhood).

8:30pm Monday, May 31 on TV2

When Susan’s (Teri Hatcher) new stripper friend moves onto Wisteria Lane, her presence has a profound effect on each of the women on the street, in tonight’s Desperate Housewives.

When Susan invites the down-on-her-luck former exotic dancer, Robin (Julie Benz, Angel), to stay with her, she has no idea how many changes it will bring about in the neighbourhood. In a special episode, a series of vignettes reveals the dramatic effect Robin has on all of Susan’s friends.

Benz tells TV Guide USA, “There’s some very sexy stuff that goes on. Robin meets everyone on Wisteria Lane and her arrival causes trouble on the lane in an indirect manner”.

With three teenage boys at home, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) needs to keep a watchful eye on the temptress next door; Bree (Marcia Cross), eager to put some spice back into her troubled marriage, picks up a few of Robin’s tricks to engage Orson (Kyle MacLachlan); and Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) schemes to get help with her troublesome niece Ana (Maiara Walsh).

Most significantly, Katherine (Dana Delany) finds a much needed new friend – but a playful kiss turns into something more momentous, spelling a new chapter in troubled Katherine’s life.

Benz insists the storyline is not a sensational attempt to grab headlines, and character development is the driving force behind the decision to pair the two women.

“It is different because there is a relationship developing out of it. Katherine has had quite a history of dating men that haven’t turned out to be very good for her. I think the question you have to ask yourself in real life is, if you connect with somebody, why let gender, religion or race get in the way. I think that’s the struggle, the challenge that Katherine has,” says Benz.

8:30pm Monday, April 26 on TV2

A plane crashes down on Wisteria Lane in a shock accident, putting lives in peril, tonight on Desperate Housewives.

While the residents are setting up for the Wisteria Lane Christmas block party, the pilot of a small plane loses control and crashes in their midst.

As the cast of Desperate Housewives explain to Entertainment Tonight, it can be nerve-wracking being an actor on a show who’s producer is not afraid to kill off characters, with everyone guessing who will be next to go.

Eva Longoria (Gaby Solis) is clear about one thing: “I think a couple of people are going to die. Marc Cherry does not have a fear of killing people, we have a list going in the make-up trailer of all the deaths going and it’s just pages and pages.”

Upon hearing about the plane crash storyline, Kevin Rahm (Lee McDermott) says his first thought was ‘am I in it’. “On Housewives it’s always the first fear, ‘am I in the house and am I in the plane’, because Marc Cherry will kill anybody.”

Whether a tornado, a house fire or a plane crash, Wisteria Lane is a street where extraordinary things happen, which in Felicity Huffman’s (Lynette Scavo) opinion, keeps the show interesting.

“I think the show is that great combination of drama and comedy and mystery and I think you just need that big drama to write around it.”

Also in tonight’s episode, Gaby and Lynette’s friendship is on the brink of collapse as relations between Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) and Lynette further sour. Bree (Marcia Cross) and Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) come to an agreement over their marriage and Danny’s (Beau Mirchoff) vital mistake may cost Angie (Drea de Matteo) her freedom.

Meanwhile, Katherine’s (Dana Delany) daughter, Dylan (Lyndsy Fonseca, Big Love), returns to Wisteria Lane for a visit which coincides with Katherine escalating her twisted plans to destroy Mike (James Denton) and Susan’s (Teri Hatcher) relationship.
