Entertainment Series

Each week, British comedian & journalist Dom Joly and his friend Peter Wilkins explore drinking habits around the world. Setting their sights on six countries, this intrepid duo makes it their mission to end the journey with a pint in a British pub, wherever they are in the world. But first they want to get intimate with the different countries by exploring one aspect of their culture; the alcohol they drink. However in true Dom Joly style, flexibility is everything and nothing really goes to plan along the way in this truly inspired take on a travel/adventure show.

SPECIAL TWO-HOUR FINALE: Dom and Pete start tonight’s episode across the ditch in Australia where they have to drive for two days to get to the most remote bar in the Outback. They also try their hand cooking some road kill and drinking homebrew at the foot of Uluru.

They then move onto India where Dom and Pete find that alcohol is surprisingly popular in southern India in spite of Hindus and Muslims both claiming to avoid it. They take a spectacular train ride to from Mumbai to Tamil Nadu where they visit The Ooty Club, a gem from the colonial era and famous for its imbibers of pink gin. Their last stop is at a rehab centre in Goa.
