During a chance run-in with Queen Latifah (as herself), Ari (Jeremy Piven) finds out that Amanda Daniels (Carla Gugino) may have landed a deal he’d coveted.

Eric (Kevin Connolly) tries to get Drama (Kevin Dillon) on board for Billy Walsh’s series, and Eric’s assistant Jennie (Janet Montgomery) pitches in to help persuade him.

Turtle’s (Jerry Ferrara) efforts to find financial backing from business magnate Mark Cuban gets him in hot water with his Mexican boss.

Entourage movie going ahead

The cast and crew of Entourage, which wrapped its final season in the US yesterday, say they are committed to doing a movie in the future. “We’re going to do a movie,” said creator Doug Ellin. “We’re going to do it. It’s a question of when and how quick. We’ll sit down and come up with an idea.”

Sex and the City prequel looks likely

A deal for a Sex and the City script is said to be close to development at The CW in the US. Gossip Girl producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will oversee the project with former Sex and the City writer Amy B Harris involved also.

24 actress joins Hawaii Five-0

Former 24 actress Annie Wersching has signed up for a guest role on Hawaii Five-0 playing the sister of a murder victim. Wersching played the role of Renee Walker in the final two seasons of 24.

Rhimes sells drama project

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has sold a drama project to ABC in the US. The series will focus on a young lawyer who is fired from his firm and decides to start his own firm with a group of lawyer misfits.

The screenwriter behind Pearl Harbour and Braveheart, Randall Wallace, guest stars as himself in Entourage this week.

Seeking assurance that Vince’s (Adrian Grenier) life is under control, the director (Wallace) calls a meeting, but Vince parties a bit too hard the night before.

Ari (Jeremy Piven) agrees to help Lizzie find a new job in exchange for some potentially damaging audiotapes.

Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) winds up in damage control after promising an LA retailer more product than he can deliver.

And, Billy Walsh’s latest pitch leaves Drama (Kevin Dillon) indignant and Eric (Kevin Connolly) intrigued.

Roll out the red carpet as a throng of VIP’s including porn star Sasha Grey, Jessica Simpson, The West Wing star Aaron Sorkin and retired boxer Mike Tyson appear in the cast of Entourage tonight.

Vince (Adrian Grenier) is impressed by porn star Sasha Grey (starring as herself) and her literary knowledge, and ends up bringing her along to a meeting with Spider-man co-creator Stan Lee (also starring as himself).

Suspecting that Lizzie (Liz Gallagher) is trying to steal his clients, Ari (Jeremy Piven) woos Jessica Simpson, Aaron Sorkin and Mike Tyson (as themselves), but not before taking his rage out on Mrs Ari (Perrey Reeves).

Meanwhile, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) pitches Eric (Kevin Connolly) about Vince becoming the face of his new venture and Drama (Kevin Dillon) is anxious about his new series with John Stamos, especially after learning that Bob Saget is eying his role.

Full House stars John Stamos and Bob Saget guest star as themselves, in tonight’s episode of Entourage.

For Vince (Adrian Grenier), Eric (Kevin Connolly), Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), life in Hollywood’s fast lane has been an intoxicating ride. Vince’s career may be back in high gear, but will his best friends be by his side when he crashes off-course?

This season, after an accident during the filming of his latest action flick, Vince develops a new lease on life that makes him even more difficult to manage – while each of the guys must decide which steps to take to map out their own futures, both personally and professionally.

Tonight, Turtle gets a south-of-the-border business pitch from Alex, but has a hard time believing he isn’t being used. Drama enlists Bob Saget to help him smooth out a rough first impression with John Stamos, a potential sitcom co-star.

Meanwhile, Ari’s euphoria after making an NFL pitch to a group of Hollywood high rollers is tempered when he learns that Lizzie may be siphoning off some of his prized clients and Eric and Scott (Scott Caan) patch up their differences with an eye on Vince’s future – and the shared success of their company.

Kutcher’s character revealed

The name and background of Ashton Kutcher’s character on Two and a Half Men has been revealed. The actor will play Walden Schmidt, described as an “internet billionaire with a broken heart.”

Romano to guest on The Middle

Ray Romano will guest star on The Middle, joining former Everybody Loves Raymond co-star Patricia Heaton. Romano will play a character who has history with Heaton’s character Frankie.

Yi joins House

Actress Charlyne Yi, who has appeared in the likes of Knocked Up and Paper Heart, has joined the cast of House. Yi will play a junior doctor on the drama series.

Entourage sued by reality star

The creators of Entourage are being sued for copyright infringement by Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, a veteran of MTV’s Real World series, over the use of the name “Johnny’s Bananas”. Entourage is featuring a fictitious TV show featuring a cartoon ape which goes by the same name.

Baldwin to host SNL again

Alec Baldwin will host Saturday Night Live for a record 16th time later this year when the show returns for its 37th season.

Jersey Shore fourth season trailer

An extended trailer for the fourth season of Jersey Shore has been released online. The season sees the cast head to Florence, Italy to try and rediscover their roots.

Entourage movie in the works

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has confirmed that a movie based on the series is in the works. Ellin told Entertainment Weekly: “We’re going to do a movie. We’re going to do it. It’s a question of when and how quick. We’ll sit down and come up with an idea.”

Downton Abbey could run for six seasons

Downton Abbey executive producer Gareth Neame believes the period drama could run for as many as six seasons. “I think it can continue for series four, five and six!” Neame said when discussing the eight-part second season. “It could move up to the 1930s, as long as the audience wants it.”

Reality TV “killing scripted TV”

Several TV showrunners in the US have spoken out about how reality TV is killing scripted TV. Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal has blamed reality TV for diverting network recourses from scripted TV: “Sure they’re to blame because they’re cheap to do,” he said. “The glut of reality shows that we’re seeing could signal something larger than just a trend. And that is the end of civilization.”

Another promotional pic has been released for the new Two and a Half Men season featuring Ashton Kutcher. Deadline reports that no new theme tune has been recorded at this stage which may suggest Kutcher and co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones will simply lip sync over the original tune.

The luxury Los Angeles mansion that serves as Vincent Chase’s (Adrian Grenier) home on TV series Entourage has been sold for $4.2m to a buyer believed to be an exec on the CSI series.

Kevin Smith to film talkshow pilot

Director Kevin Smith is reportedly set to film a pilot for a new talkshow that will target the 12-34 demographic. The series will be a 30-minute entertainment show that will be syndicated.

Simpsons to spoof Dexter

The Simpsons will take a jab at comedy/drama series Dexter in an upcoming episode with Ned Flanders playing the role of the serial killer. The Halloween episode will feature similar opening credits and theme song.

This week, the director of Vince’s latest action film (Nick Cassavetes, The Hangover 2) talks his star into doing his own driving stunt – agitating both Eric and Ari (Jeremy Piven). Turtle’s attraction to an underperforming employee named Alex (Dania Ramirez, Heroes) threatens to damage his fledgling car-service business.

Ari looks to add to his resume as “the biggest agent in the world” by eyeing an alliance with the NFL. Worried that his holding deal is about to expire, Drama pressures Lloyd (Rex Lee), now a TMA agent, to land him a project.

American remake of Misfits on the cards

Misfits executive producer Murray Ferguson has confirmed that there are talks about a US remake of the series. Ferguson confirmed at the Monte Carlo Television festival that there is American interest in remaking the British series.

Morgan apologises for homophobic jokes

30 Rock’s Tracy Morgan has apologised for homophobic jokes in his stand-up routine after being slammed by both the media and gay rights groups. Morgan said: “I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others…even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.”

Ice-T signs for more Law & order: SVU

Ice-T has signed on for two more years on Law & Order: SVU, it has been announced. The rapper – real name Tracy Marrow – announced the news via Twitter: “I’ve just locked in my new SVU deal. So I’ll officially be back for the next 2 years at least. DONE. (sic).”
