Written by Richard Chizmar (“From a Buick 8”) & Johnathon Schaech (“Masters of Horror,” “That Thing You Do!”), based on the short story of the same title written by Lewis Shiner.

Roosevelt quote “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Comes a provocative, suspense and horror anthology series set to push the boundaries of this classic genre. Where Nightmare in Elm Street, The Omen and Dawn Of The Dead left off, Fear Itself has taken the next step in terror. Fear Itself was borne out of Masters of Horror and shares several of the same creative elements: self-contained horror/thriller stories directed by the biggest horror directors working in features today.

The talented masterminds who collaborated to create this terrifying series include award-winning, sought-after directors John Landis (“An American Werewolf in London”), Darren Bousman (“Saw II, III and IV”) and Ronny Yu (“Bride of Chucky”); actors Brandon Routh (“Superman Returns”), Shiri Appleby (“Charlie Wilson’s War”), Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”), Cynthia Watros (“Lost”), Eric Roberts (NBC’s “Heroes”) and John Billingsley (“Star Trek: Enterprise”); and writers, including Joe Gangemi (“Wind Chill,” the novel “Inamorata”), Steve Niles (“30 Days of Night”) and Dan Knauf (“Carnivàle,” “Supernatural”).

It is the wedding day of Samantha and Carlos – they have decided to tie the knot after a whirlwind romance.

But after such a short engagement, how much do they really know about each other? When a mysterious woman delivers a disturbing note to Samantha moments before the ceremony, will she be saying ‘I do’?

This nerve-jangling episode is directed by the horror maestro, John Landis (An American Werewolf in London).

Waking up on New Year’s Day, Helen thought she simply had the hangover from hell.

However, a local chemical plant has somehow managed to turn half the city’s population into Zombies.

Will she be able to make it to the city limits before she gets infected?

This super scary episode is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, famed for directing Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV.

It’s a cold winter’s night when the Chesterton Police Department takes possession of a notorious serial killer dubbed “The Eater” from the FBI.

As the shift changes at the station, the cops stare in disbelief at the man-mountain that is the Cajun cannibal. The killer is shuffled past with his hair hanging limply over his face, hiding his features from all who would look. The cops whisper among themselves as Danni Bannerman (played by Mad Men’s Elizabeth Moss), a rookie, stares at the man, seemingly captivated by him.

As the night progresses Bannerman starts to notice that her male colleagues are acting bizarrely and that there is a strange atmosphere at the police station. As her anxiety grows, Bannerman starts to wonder if the ‘Eater’ has anything to do with the strange goings on at the precinct.

This fantastically creepy episode is full spooks and scares and culminates in a brilliant shocking ending.

Dennis Mahoney is an All-American dad: successful, loving, and all-around good guy. All that changes after a car accident leaves him hanging between life and death.

He finds his way back to life – only to wake up in the body of a serial killer named Richard Brautigan, a.k.a. “The Family Man Killer.” Even worse is that Brautigan is now in Mahoney’s body.

With time running out, Dennis must find a way to save his family from Brautigan’s murderous intent before he is executed in Brautigan’s place.
