Food Safari returns for more culinary adventures with a brand new series. Packed with more great characters, delicious recipes and clever cooking tips, this delightful show provides a wonderful insight into how different groups of people celebrate with food. In this series, travel to South America, where a tango dancing couple serve the perfect Argentinian asado. Then learn to make true Dakkah in Egypt and a sensational pistachio baklava in Syria. The safari continues on to Africa, for a glimpse at the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, but not before we examine the iconic menus of the USA and England. Each episode is a detailed journey filled with great tips on how to source ingredients locally and recreate dishes authentically. In true Food Safari tradition, the adventure takes you far and wide in search of glorious cuisine from its exotic origins.

Each episode, presenter Maeve O’Meara explores a new cuisine with the help of professional chefs and home cooks who show us their tips and secrets, cheat’s recipes and classic favourites.
