FriendsfinalReboots of the hit 90’s series Full House and The X Files are now underway but the one reboot that fans would really like to see happen never will according to one of its creators.

Marta Kauffman, who helped co-create the sitcom Friends has stated it’s “never gonna happen”. The EP for the new Netflix series Grace and Frankie which drops May 9th here said that Friends

“was about a time in your life when your friends are your family,”

“Once you begin to have a family of your own, that is no longer the case, and your priorities shift. So the show is over.” Continue reading »

With 2014 marking the 20th anniversary of Friends and 10 years since the show ended, there had been hopes that there would be some sort of reunion.  Courtney Cox appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman this week and put an end to the speculation.

“There’s six friends and I have been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years,” Cox said. “It doesn’t happen. I mean, I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, [David] Schwimmer lives [in New York City], so it’s just not going to happen.”

In typical Shonda fashion, details about Kudrow’s character are kept under wraps, it’s been rumoured that she will play a politician.

On the Kerry Washington-starring drama, Kudrow is joining her long-time producing partner Dan Bucatinsky, who received an Emmy nomination for his recurring role as Cyrus’ (Jeff Perry) long-suffering husband. This marks Kudrow’s biggest series acting commitment in a long time. Continue reading »

Episode 102Homeland details announced

A few details have been released regarding the third season of Homeland. An official release from Showtime says that the season opens “during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the U.S. intelligence apparatus, and prompted a global manhunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist — Nick Brody (Damian Lewis).  As Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul (Mandy Patinkin) begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts.”

Dallas renewed for third season

The Dallas reboot has been renewed for a third season for 2014. The renewal comes two weeks after the second season finale in the US. Continue reading »
