Tonight we continue with the second part of the New York City series with Jules in Brooklyn and Queens. ‘My Favourite Place’ heads to Australia Zoo with Bindi Irwin with another beautiful ‘Give Me A Break’ story in Queensland with a widowed dad and his children. Catriona is in The Bronx and Staton and Liberty Islands; Dermott heads to Indigo Pearl, Phuket, Thailand while Natalie on a Vintage Tour in Melbourne.

Tonight we join Jules and Catriona in the first of a two-part NY Special. Jules is in Upper Manhattan and Catriona in Lower Manhattan. Jason teams up with rugby league legend Andrew John doing a ‘My Favourite Place’ segment in Port Stephens, NSW. Natalie embarks on a romantic Daylesford weekend at Sorrel in Caracas, Venezuela while Kelly checks out Darwin’s new Waterfront Precinct.

Jason Dundas goes on a Scenic Tours adventure down the Amazon, starting in the tiny town of Iquitos – a city isolated in the eastern corner of Peru, 105m above sea level – with Dermott Brereton heading to Tasmania!

Tonight, Jason announces the “new” Seven Wonders of the World as voted for by 100 million people worldwide. The ancient city of Petra in Jordan certainly deserves to be on the list and Dermott is lucky enough to experience this amazing place which was hand-carved from solid rock around 200 BC.

Some of Australia’s finest attractions are under the spotlight tonight including Portjet Wild Thing, a jet-boat thrill ride at Port Macquarie, Adelaide’s Clarion Hotel Soho, the Arnhem Land plateau, Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre and Skywalk.

Also tonight Jason checks out the Jumbo Hostel in Sweden, a converted Boeing 747-200 which is now bolted to the ground.

In tonight’s episode Catriona goes swimming with seals in New Zealand, rides with the wild brumbies of the Snowy Mountains and also sees Shamu, the world’s most famous killer whale perform.

The rest of the Getaway crew goes wild with some of the best wildlife experiences elsewhere in the world. Jules goes polar bear spotting in Alaska while Natalie travels to Tonga and goes swimming with humpback whales.
