Glee coryGlee has found its 22 episode season order cut to 20 due to the production hiatus resulting from Cory Monteith’s untimely death at the start of the season. There is speculation, however, that the shortened order may be the result of lower ratings.

The musical recently fell below 3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the key 18-to-49 demographic, matching its series low this week with a 0.9. It is among the lowest-rated series already renewed for the 2014-15 season, though the current batch of 22 episodes has been reduced to 20 as a result of a production hiatus at the start of the season. Fox might film the two cut episodes early to better promote what could be a supersized 24-episode sixth and final run. Continue reading »

100gleeThe setlist for Glee’s 100th episode has been released, with old faces coming to say goodbye to Will Schuester.

The music in the two-part episode was voted on by fans, who were asked to pick 10 of the show’s 30 most beloved performances to be remixed and featured on the series’ landmark episode.

The 100th episode will center on Jane Lynch’s principal Sue Sylvester, who after years of disdain for the New Directions and Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester, finally succeeds in ending the glee club in Lima. Continue reading »
