Adrian’s full-flavoured, more traditional creations are analysed, as Janella offers up natural and nutritious alternatives. Both chefs know that it’s really about moderation in all things, but this doesn’t change their strong opinions and commitment to the way they do their food.

FOOD TELEVISION – Mondays from 30 November, 4.30pm

Chef, Gary Mehigan (Masterchef Australia) and nutritionist Janella Purcell return with a brand new series of Good Chef Bad Chef where they bring their distinctive styles of cooking to the screen for a food showdown. From Gary’s full flavoured more traditional food creations to Janella’s natural and nutritious recipes, each dish will challenge viewers to decide what’s good for them. Both chefs know that it’s really about moderation in all things, but this doesn’t change their strong opinions and commitment to the way they do food. The title also borrows from the general confusion that some food is good for you and some food is bad for you. In many instances, its how you use the food, what you eat it with, and how much you consume. This all new series will help you to decide what to eat, while exploring ingredients, recipes, cuisines and food themes that educate, tantalise and inspire home cooking!

Well, both Gary and Janella are, of course, very good at what they do. But is it the healthy “food as medicine” dishes and advice offered by Janella? Or Gary’s take on full-flavoured, more traditional cooking that most appeals to you? Both chefs know that it’s really about moderation in all things, but this doesn’t change their strong opinions and commitment to the way they do food. The title also borrows from the general confusion that some food is good for you and some food is bad for you. In many instances, its how you use the food, what you eat it with, how often you partake and what other lifestyle choices you make.
