FOOD TELEVISION – Tuesdays from 11 January, 8.30pm

Matthew Evans, Australia’s most feared restaurant critic, quits his city life for small farm living in Tasmania. Having spent most of his life writing about what is good food, he now wants to go to the source, to find the best local produce and to rear and grow it himself. To succeed in his project, Matthew must learn about what animals are the most viable to raise, plant a garden and learn to cook with a wood-fired oven. To live this life to its fullest, Matthew goes on a mission to meet a wide variety of food producers from around the state to learn what they do and find out where good food really comes from.
