Kutcher plugs companies on Two and a Half Men

Ashton Kutcher has caused a bit of a stir in his second episode on Two and a Half Men thanks to a bunch of stickers on his character’s laptop. The stickers were for companies in which Kutcher himself has a stake and CBS apparently had no idea.

Fey and Longoria highest-paid actresses

Tina Fey and Eva Longoria have been named TV’s highest-paid actresses. The pair are said to have earned $13 million each between May 2010 and May 2011.

Director developing new series

Easy A and Friends With Benefits director Will Gluck is working on a new comedy for the Fox network. The show is described as a “family comedy” that will examine relationships with neighbours and the “American Dream”.

Monk returning to Grey’s

Reports are suggesting that actress Debra Monk will reprise her role in Grey’s Anatomy. The actress, who plays the mother of George, was last seen on the show in 2009.

Wedding bells will ring in Grey’s Anatomy this week.

As Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona’s (Jessica Capshaw) wedding approaches, the couple quickly realise that the day they’ve been looking forward to is not turning out the way they’d envisioned.

Meanwhile, Alex (Justin Chambers) continues to make the other residents jealous, as he appears to be the top contender for Chief Resident, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) make a decision that will change their lives forever, and Dr Perkins (James Tupper, Men In Trees) presents Teddy (Kim Raver) with a very tempting proposition.

Ramirez tells American TV Guide that viewers can expect a spectacle of femininity.

“I’ve never seen so much pink at a wedding,” she said of the episode. “If you have two brides in a ceremony, you need to go big and pull out all the stops.

Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond guest stars in TV2’s hit drama Grey’s Anatomy this week.

Everyone pulls together to help Callie (Sara Ramirez) and baby Sofia on their painstaking journeys to recovery in hopes of allowing mother and baby to finally meet.

The sudden death of a clinical trial patient has Derek (Patrick Dempsey) proceeding with more caution while Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) makes a calculated and risky move.

Alex (Justin Chambers) treats a cranky old rich woman dying of cancer and gets an idea for a grandiose endeavor that is sure to get him the Chief Resident spot.

And Teddy (Kim Raver) is pleasantly surprised by the return of a familiar face.

Prepare for one of the most emotional episodes of Grey’s Anatomy ever this week, with the much-anticipated musical episode.

A cataclysmic event rattles the doctors of Seattle Grace to the core, as Callie (Sara Ramirez), is on the verge of an enormous life-changing moment with Arizona, envisions her hospital and friends as it has never been seen before.

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, How to Save a Life by The Fray and The Story by Brandi Carlile are among the songs performed by the cast in one of the most special hours of Grey’s Anatomy yet.

Sara Ramirez, who won a Tony Award in 2005 for Broadway’s Monty Python’s Spamalot tells American TV Guide that she was delighted with the opportunity to sing on the show.

“It’s like a dream I didn’t even know I had coming true. It feels like everything in my life and career has been leading up to this moment.”

Ramirez warns that her character goes through a “life-altering event” in this episode.

“Have a Kleenex nearby… just in case it gets to be too much,” she says.

Entourage movie going ahead

The cast and crew of Entourage, which wrapped its final season in the US yesterday, say they are committed to doing a movie in the future. “We’re going to do a movie,” said creator Doug Ellin. “We’re going to do it. It’s a question of when and how quick. We’ll sit down and come up with an idea.”

Sex and the City prequel looks likely

A deal for a Sex and the City script is said to be close to development at The CW in the US. Gossip Girl producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will oversee the project with former Sex and the City writer Amy B Harris involved also.

24 actress joins Hawaii Five-0

Former 24 actress Annie Wersching has signed up for a guest role on Hawaii Five-0 playing the sister of a murder victim. Wersching played the role of Renee Walker in the final two seasons of 24.

Rhimes sells drama project

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has sold a drama project to ABC in the US. The series will focus on a young lawyer who is fired from his firm and decides to start his own firm with a group of lawyer misfits.

Nancy Travis (So I Married An Axe Murderer, 3 Men And A Baby) guest stars in Grey’s Anatomy this week.

Loretta Devine (Boston Public) and Peter MacNicol (Ally McBeal) also reappear in guest roles.

Meanwhile, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) must choose between her fertility treatments and her eyesight when she begins having trouble seeing, Mark (Eric Dane) makes it clear to Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) that he takes his role as father-to-be very seriously, and April (Sarah Drew) discovers there’s more to Dr Stark than first appears.

Rescue Me star Daniel Sunjata and Loretta Devine (Boston Public) guest star in TV2’s hit drama Grey’s Anatomy this week.

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) quickly learns that time really is of the essence when she’s put in charge of the ER. Looking to prove she is chief resident material, she quickly learns that anything and everything can happen in an hour’s time when she steps up into the role for the night.

Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) sneaks off with Eli (Sunjata) and gets into a little mischief, and everyone is surprised when the Chief’s wife, Adele (Devine), shows up as one of the ER patients.

Kevin McKidd (Dr Owen Hunt) makes his directorial debut on TV2’s hit drama Grey’s Anatomy this week – and Twitter users can sign up to receive tweets from one of the show’s main characters live during the episode.

Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) attempt to take the hospital into the age of new media with live tweets from the OR does not go over well with the Chief (James Pickens Jnr). New Zealand Grey’s Anatomy fans can sign up to, and receive tweets from, Bailey which will be sent out live during the show.
