How I Met Your Mother creator Carter Bays says that the sitcom will most likely continue past season eight. “I imagine when we’re going into the final season, we’ll get people hip to that,” Bays said. “But right now it’s hard for us to say it will be May 14, 2000-whatever. The cast and crew of Entourage, which wrapped its final season in the US yesterday, say they are committed to doing a movie in the future. “We’re going to do a movie,” said creator Doug Ellin. “We’re going to do it. It’s a question of when and how quick. We’ll sit down and come up with an idea.”

New time-travel comedy in development

A new time-travel comedy is in development at ABC that centres on a man who believes he is living the perfect life in 2016 before he is transported back to 2011. Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison will produce the series alongside Sony Pictures.
