Gleeson teases third Game of Thrones season

Kristin Chenoweth leaving The Good Wife

Kristin Chenoweth signed on for a recurring role as a political reporter on The Good Wife, but is now leaving the show, due to an injury she suffered on the set in July, when she was hit on the head by scaffolding.

Hot in Cleveland renewed

Hot in Cleveland has officially been picked up for a fourth season, just a few days after the sitcom picked up the award for ‘Favourite Cable TV Comedy’ at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards.

Marco Polo series planned

A new drama series based on 13th century explorer Marco Polo is being developed by the Starz network. The series will follow Polo throughout his years as an ambassador, explorer and spy.

Kutcher looking for renewal

Ashton Kutcher says he hoped his new comedy series Two and a Half Men will be renewed for another season by CBS this year, calling his current movie roles as merely a “hiatus” between seasons of the sitcom. 

Wahlberg teases Entourage movie

Producer Mark Wahlberg has teased the planned Entourage movie, saying: “I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness–the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”

The ladies return to L.A for the first time since moving to Cleveland. Victoria (Wendie Malick) is appearing on All My Children but her rivalry with Susan Lucci (playing herself) brings disaster. Meanwhile, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) faces selling the house she’s raised her kids in, Joy (Jane Leeves) might be dating an actor who has an evil twin (Michael E. Knight), and Elka’s (Betty White) on a quest to meet the movie star of her dreams, Robert Redford, who she hears will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

White has been asked several times what she hasn’t done in Hollywood, replying with “Robert Redford.” In fact, some would say it’s her bucket-list item. Will she get to live out her dream via her Hot in Cleveland character?

When a pair of magic Spanx (body-shaping underwear) enters the ladies’ lives, they find themselves led on unexpected adventures. Joy (Jane Leeves, Frasier) seeks love but finds a much, much younger man; Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli, Touched By An Angel) tries to catch the eye of a doctor (Wagner), but ends up with all eyes on her; Victoria (Wendie Malick, Just Shoot Me!) dons the Spanx but ends up in a catfight with Melanie Griffith (herself); and Elka (Betty White, The Golden Girls) just wants her beloved Cleveland Indians to win, and even has an enhancement idea for hunky player Grady Sizemore.
