You may have heard that Carrie Underwood recently revealed that she will be ending her music career; “I have officially decided that I’m giving up the music business,” the country singer wrote on her blog. “I’m going to become a professional sitcom actress!”

“Gotcha! LOL! Just kidding,” she added, stating that she simply got carried away filming her guest starring role – her sitcom debut – on How I Met Your Mother, screening on Monday, March 14th at 7:30pm on FOUR.

This week’s How I Met Your Mother will see Underwood portraying Tiffany, a pharmaceutical rep, or as Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) calls them, “the Official New Profession of Hot Chicks”.

“The show was so much fun,” the former Idol winner gushed, adding that she had “a blast”, and that the cast and crew “made me feel right at home and were super nice and great with me and my lack of experience.”

Could Underwood prove to be a potential candidate for the series’ yet to be revealed ‘mother’ character? Find out when How I Met Your Mother continues its latest season on Monday, March 14th at 7:30pm on FOUR.
