Mickey Bricks and his team of highly skilled conmen return for another series as the Hustle team, targeting London’s rich and greedy and, with their grifting skills better than ever, they push themselves to the limit in the search for riches.

UKTV – Saturdays from 11 June, 9.20pm

‘The con is always on’

The gang is back for a seventh series of this popular drama. Expect more exciting, inventive and sophisticated scams as the team get ready to part the greedy from their hard-earned cash.

Master con man Mickey Bricks returns with his team of talented con artists – expert fixer Ash ‘three socks’ Morgan, master roper Albert Stroller and brother and sister team Sean and Emma Kennedy.

The team’s first rule is never to con an honest man; and they have a wealth of greedy adversaries lined up for some of their most audacious cons yet. This time around there’s a cruel modelling agent who scams young girls out of their hard-earned cash, an unscrupulous social climber at the helm of a greedy loan firm, an Iranian hard man nicknamed ‘the Dentist’ and even a notorious grifter buster!

There are also personal scores to settle and while one member of the team fights to save their family name another finds themselves questioning whether the life of a grifter is really for them.

Tough decisions and plenty of fun abound as the team go head to head with some of the meanest, greediest people society has to offer.

Starring: Adrian Lester as Mickey Bricks (Sleep with Me, Day After Tomorrow); Robert Glenister as Ash Morgan (Murder, Between the Sheet); Robert Vaughn as Albert Stroller (Bullitt, The Magnificent Seven, The Man from Uncle); Matt Di Angelo as Sean Kennedy (EastEnders); Kelly Adams as Emma Kennedy (Holby City).

UKTV – Thursdays from 2 September, 8.30pm

If you have money to burn… you had better keep an eye on it.

This popular series returns for a sixth season, and the gang are back with more exciting, inventive and sophisticated (if a little bit shady) scams.

When Mickey meets a beautiful, clever young woman, it all seems to be too good to be true. And it is.

Lucy Britford is an, albeit highly attractive, detective inspector, set on getting somewhere in life – the only trouble is that achieving her ambitions rather unfortunately involves catching Mickey and making him answer to all of his past misdemeanours – meaning a long-lasting relationship is quite out of the question. Much to Emma’s relief.

Meanwhile Sean and Emma must face up to some long past, but not forgotten, family history, and contemplate the best way to get the perfect revenge – the question is – is it about the money? Factor in Ash’s reunion with ‘Liability Finch’ and the disturbing disappearance of lady luck from their most valuable asset – Mickey, and the team have more than enough to keep them, and everyone else,

guessing.

From cheap jewellery to the odd priceless painting, the team set about righting the wrongs of the country, by punishing the corrupt (and financially buoyant) for their lack of concern for others. It just so happens that the team benefits along the way, either by earning a (dishonest) living, or by simply saving their own skin.

After all, when you have to come up with half a million pounds in a week, or start losing your limbs to a very angry man, it pays to have a few tricks up your sleeve. Just remember, avarice may not be a deadly sin, but it is likely to get you conned.

Starring: Adrian Lester (Sleep with Me, Day After Tomorrow), Robert Glenister (Murder, Between the Sheets), Robert Vaughn (Bullitt, The Magnificent Seven, The Man from Uncle), Matt Di Angelo (EastEnders) and Kelly Adams (Holby City).

UKTV – Sundays from 13 September, 9.30pm

The con is back on

Following his stint in Australia selling the Sydney Opera House to an unsuspecting punter, Mickey has returned to a new London. The credit crunch has hit Britain and while the majority of people are tightening their belts, there are still a scurrilous and greedy few who are getting ever richer from others’ losses – Mickey is keen to put new plans into action to extract their cash.

Mickey’s old crew has dispersed in his absence – Ash is back to short cons, Danny and Stacey are grifting their way across the USA, while Albert, Mickey’s old friend and mentor, has finally been busted and is currently detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure.

Mickey is determined that he and Ash get a new crew together, and get to work on a fresh new set of cons. Starting with obnoxious business woman Sara, who has made a killing in the property market. Continually raising the stakes, Sara isn’t an easy mark to take, and the introduction of her hapless assistant Aaron is an element Mickey and Ash hadn’t accounted for.

However, Mickey and Ash are old hands and, posing as two city slickers, they set up an intricate stocks based plan to take Sara – but when the money goes missing, they realise Sara and Aaron aren’t at all what they seemed… Has Albert been playing them all and could Mickey have met his match?

With such a new crew getting used to one another, the plans need to be more well-planned and sophisticated than ever. From priceless paintings to prized necklaces, you can be sure that Mickey and the team will be there, ready to teach the immoral and materialistic members of society a valuable lesson.

Starring: Adrian Lester (Primary Colors, Bonekickers, Scenes of a Sexual Nature), Robert Vaughn (The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The Magnificent Seven, Superman III), Robert Glenister Spooks, Sirens, Prime Suspect 4, Soldier Soldier, Chancer,) Kelly Adams (Holby City), Matt Di Angelo (EastEnders, I Dream), Rob Jarvis (Tripping Over, Waking The Dead: Wounds).
