Later With Jools Holland

The first of eight episodes of this brand new series Later With Jools Holland premieres on Wednesday 4 January at 8.30pm. Featured artists and bands throughout this new series include Beady Eye, Robbie Robertson, K.D. Lang, Hugh Laurie, P.J. Harvey, Adele, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and Blondie.

Rialto Channel is proud to exclusively bring you the latest series of Later With Jools Holland – a contemporary British music show, hosted by a widely respected musician, Jools Holland, from Wednesday 3 November.  

This performance show has been transmitted in the United Kingdom since 1992, and in that time has played host to over 400 of the worlds finest bands.  Each episode is filmed live, usually in one take, and has showcased talent ranging from stadium acts such as David Bowie and Sting, to the latest up-and-coming artists.  Later With Jools Holland has been seen around the world by millions of people.

Host Jools Holland began a career in music at age 15 in the band Squeeze with hits such as Cool for Cats and Up the Junction.  Over the years Jools has performed and recorded with some of the most talented musicians and songwriters in the world, a list that extends from Eric Clapton, Sting, Luther Vandross and BB King, to Dr John, Paul Weller and George Harrison.  Jools’ unique combination of gifted musician and articulate and intelligent interviewer saw him being invited by The Beatles to conduct the interviews for their award-winning Anthology television series.

This new series includes guest appearances and performances from Florence & The Machine, Dizzee Rascal, Muse, The Gossip, Gladys Knight, Echo & The Bunnymen, Wolfmother, Stereophonics and many more.

Also in November, Rialto Channel is proud to present French Film Season, allowing you to embrace and enjoy French film every Tuesday night at 8.30pm.
