8:00pm Friday, August 5 on TV2

Love is certainly not plain sailing tonight in TV2’s brand new comedy Mad Love.

After a chance meeting atop one of New York City’s most iconic skyscrapers, it’s love at first sight for Ben Parr (Biggs) and Kate Swanson (Sarah Chalke).

While these two hopeless romantics pursue the dream relationship they’ve both been waiting for, the same can’t be said for their best friends, Larry Munsch (Tyler Labine) and Connie Grabowski (Judy Greer), whose mutual animosity only seems to grow… or does it?

While Ben and Kate revel in having found “the one,” commitment-resistant Larry finds the perfect foil in deeply sarcastic Connie. Late nights spent talking and a weekend in the country help Kate and Ben explore their feelings, while the friction between Larry and Connie creates a magic of its own as these four 30-somethings search for happiness in Mad Love.

This week, when Connie balks at having lunch together, Ben (Jason Biggs) is convinced that she doesn’t like him. So as Ben sets out to win Connie’s friendship, Kate takes Larry to task for his insensitive efforts to dump a date he doesn’t like. Meanwhile, Tiffany (Sarah Wright) ropes a reluctant Connie into to caring for a friend’s kids as well as her own.
