Meet The Natives

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC – Sunday 4 October, 7.30pm

Relaxing in a life of luxury with the English upper-class tribe, the five men from Tanna watch a traditional foxhunting party, practice a round of archery, learn English table manners before their black-tie dinner, and experience snow for the first time. On a mission to meet Prince Philip, whom they believe is the son of their god Calpapin, Chief Yapa, Joel, Hosen, Albi and Jimmy Joseph enlist the help of their host, Sir Humphrey Wakefield. Heading to London, they find a city full of people who do not smile and seem to be rushing everywhere. Offering a traditional London prayer on their balcony, the men hope to finally accomplish their goal of meeting Prince Philip.
