Hot off the satellite; the most breath-taking women in the world gather in your living room for all that’s beautiful and glamorous: Miss World 2012.

Get ready for some awe-inspiring beauty, fantastic fashion and spectacular performances. A world record 125 nations enter the Ordos Stadium in Inner Mongolia, China; in a spectacular finale to the four week: Miss World Festival.

For the first time you can get up close and personal and see what it’s like living ‘in house’ with the contestants, giving exclusive behind the scenes coverage.

Miss World special events include: Beach Beauty, Top Model, Talent, Sport and Beauty With A Purpose, giving the opportunity for the contestants to add to their final scores, as they travel to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

Plus, for the first time, a star judging panel will be able to give their opinions, pick out their personal favourites and reveal their scores for each country. The marks from the star judges and Miss World special events will be shown on the giant scoreboard allowing viewers to follow their country’s progress at each stage of the competition.

TV2 invites you to join the party as we celebrate Miss World’s 60th birthday with a new-look final and a record 120 nations, coming to viewers direct from London.

A global audience of more than 1 billion viewers will be watching the world’s most beautiful women for the broadcast of Miss World 2011.

With fantastic fashion, spectacular performance and a host of international guest stars that have all played a part in the 60-year history, the final marks the culmination of the month-long Miss World tour.

Over the course of the tour, the contestants travel across the UK, visiting sights and attractions, attending special events, exploring the culture and supporting charity projects through the theme ‘Beauty with a Purpose.’

All new for 2011, the show takes viewers behind the scenes in Miss World ‘Up Close and Personal’. Four dedicated camera teams in-house with our Miss Worlds at their 5-star luxury hotel, bringing exclusive round-the-clock coverage.

The tension mounts…the excitement builds…and the winner is announced! It is one of television’s most glamorous nights of the year. Who will be crowned the 61st Miss World?

TV2 is celebrating the 60th Miss World 2010 on Sunday 07 November with a truly spectacular two-hour television event, from the tropical paradise of Sanya in China.

The eyes of the world will be on Sanya as Miss World’s Diamond Anniversary Year begins. Starring 120 of the world’s most beautiful women, the unrivalled television event will feature special guests from the past 60 years of Miss World, dazzling fashion and spectacular performances from a host of the world’s leading entertainers.

Miss World 2010 will include exclusive ‘all-access’ interviews with the 120 finalists as they visit and experience an array of China’s most amazing attractions. The exclusive films will feature the sights of Beijing, a chance to follow in the footsteps of Genghis Khan in Inner Mongolia, the colourful surprises of Shanghai and the Miss World finale event in the tropical paradise of Sanya.
