Along for the ride is Earl’s hapless brother Randy (Ethan Suplee), the very sexy Catalina (Nadine Velazquez), Darnell (Eddie Steeples) and Earl’s ex-wife Joy (Jaime Pressly) who still won’t lift a finger to help unless there’s something in it for her.

Sunday, July 6th at 8pm

It’s time to say goodbye to Earl (Jason Lee) and the gang as the third season of the highly popular My Name is Earl concludes on Sunday, July 6th at 8pm on 3.

It’s been quite a season for Earl, starting out in prison, lasting through a coma and finally getting married – he has been through a lot this past series. However the one thing he hasn’t had much time to do is work through his list without interruptions.

It’s been this fateful list that initially lead Earl to all his adventures over the last three season – which in turn lead to the series becoming such an international success, however despite this success Jason Lee still seems surprised at the critical and commercial acclaim My Name is Earl has received.

“We were doing something so different – here’s a guy with a white trash ‘do and moustache, this isn’t like the hot actors in ER or something, this isn’t like high-end drama, this is trailer park humour. But at the same time I knew how likable the characters are and how much you can identify with them; I figured there would be more accessibility than with other shows. But I didn’t know to this degree,” Lee says.

The show has certainly proven to be more than just accessible, now reaching its third season conclusion, and recently being renewed for another season, the series seems to be going from strength to strength.

In tonight’s season finale entitled “Camdenites”, Earl is finally forced to rededicate himself to the task karma put him up to three years ago, even though it wasn’t quite in the manner he had hoped.

Last week Earl realised that Billie (Alyssa Milano) – the woman he just married – wasn’t his dream girl after all, and while he took Joy’s (Jaime Pressly) advice to learn to live with the little annoyances, Earl found it impossible where karma was concerned and reached the final straw when Billie asked him to shave his moustache.

Find out how he handles this latest dilemma in the season finale of My Name is Earl, screening Sunday, July 6th at 8pm on 3.

Sunday, May 11th at 8pm

Tonight’s episode of My Name Is Earl entitled “I Won’t Die With A Little Help From My Friends – Part One” will feature a very special guest star, Paris Hilton. Hilton will play herself in a dream sequence with Earl (Jason Lee). My Name Is Earl screens Sunday, May 11th at 8pm on 3.

In last season’s finale Earl took the fall for ex-wife Joy (Jaime Pressly) and ended up going to prison, in prison he become invaluable to the warden (Craig T. Nelson) and even managed to meet a girl (guest star Alyssa Milano), all while continuing to correct the bad karma he’d accumulated.

After his release – frustrated with karma – Earl started acting bad again, which lead him to be hit by a car, again.

Now Earl finds himself unconscious and mixing events from his real live with those from the outside – it is from this outside world that Paris Hilton makes her cameo appearance.

The star of such cinematic “gems” as The Hottie and the Nottie, Bottoms Up, and House of Wax will be part of the dream sequence in which Earl finds events and people in the outside world seeping into his head.

My Name Is Earl creator, Greg Garcia was very cheeky about the casting when he recently spoke to Entertainment Zone.

“When we wrote the role of Paris Hilton in the script, we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role. But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton,” he said.

I can’t wait to see what she does with the role and I can’t wait for America to discover her,” he added.

Though Hilton’s film career is hardly anything to write home about – four movies she’s appeared in are ranked in IMDB’s Bottom 100 of all time – she has had a little better luck on television. She starred in The Simple Life for several seasons and has done guest spots on Veronica Mars, The O.C. and Las Vegas, among others.

So if you’re curious to see how well the socialite will portray the role of “Paris Hilton” make sure to tune in to this hilarious episode of My Name Is Earl, screening Sunday, May 11th at 8pm on 3.

Sunday, March 23rd at 7:50pm

This week Earl (Jason Lee) gets not one but two steps closer to righting all the wrongs on his list in a double feature of the comedy hit My Name Is Earl screening Sunday, March 23rd at 7:50pm on 3.

The series, which is currently in it’s third season, stars Lee as Earl Hickey, a former crook who, operating under the concept of karma, is trying to make up for all his past wrongdoings.

Over the course of the series’ three seasons the series has picked up numerous recognitions, including a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, a 2006 Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, a BAFTA TV award nomination for International Programme of the Year and a 2006 Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, given to series creator Greg Garcia for the pilot episode.

Some of the cast members of My Name is Earl have also earned recognition for their work. Lee has received Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

While making the transition from drama to comedy has proven very rewarding for Jamie Pressly. Pressly, who plays Earl’s ex-wife Joy Turner, recently earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, beating actresses Conchata Ferrell (Two and a Half Men), Jenna Fischer (The Office), Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds), Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men) and Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty).

Although her first roles in television were on the dramas Push and Jack & Jill, Pressly claims comedy feels more natural to her.

“I come from a very funny family. All the Pressly men were funny… My dad would tell these great stories, where every character had a different accent … We laughed at each other, all day,” Pressly told American TV Guide after receiving her award.

Pressly’s comical inspiration – her father Jim – recently expressed his pride when he spoke to NBC.com.

“I’m proud of her, she didn’t ever give up,” he told the website. “She kept right on struggling, because it wasn’t easy, but last year she got nominated, this year she got nominated, but this year she won.”

So make sure to catch this Emmy Award-winning actress in the Award-winning comedy series, a double episode of My Name Is Earl screens Sunday, March 23rd at 7:50pm on 3.

He might be newly imprisoned, but Earl’s (Jason Lee) love life is about to take a positive turn, as Alyssa Milano (Charmed, Who’s The Boss?) joins the cast of My Name is Earl, screening Sunday, March 9th at 8pm on 3.

“Alyssa is a popular TV star, and we’re delighted to have her join us for what will be a great storyline,” My Name Is Earl creator Greg Garcia recently told eCentral.com.

Milano made her television debut as Samantha Micelli on Who’s the Boss?, she has also appeared in other television shows such as Melrose Place, Spin City, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and Family Guy, but she is probably best known for her eight years on 3’s hit series Charmed.

She will be introduced in to the hit comedy when her character, Billie goes to prison to pay Frank (Michael Rapaport) a conjugal visit, however Frank can not see her and he asks Earl to explain why.

Things do not go according to plan, and Billie ends up ending her relationship with Frank because of Earl. Feeling responsible for the break-up, Earl vows to get the two back together.

However, he may have a difficult time carrying out his latest karmic task, especially when he continues to see Billie in a different light.

“Through a series of events and destiny, they bump into each other again, and her life begins running parallel to Earl’s,” Milano recently told ExtraTV.com.

The introduction of Milano will also see the popular television star reuniting with Emmy award-winning actress Jaime Pressly (Joy Turner), who appeared as a guest star on the supernatural drama Charmed during its fifth season.

“We have two very strong actresses (Jaime Pressly and Nadine Velazquez) on the show, so when we were going to bring in a third for a few episodes, we knew we had to get someone with some real presence,” Garcia explained about the choice of Milano for the show’s third female lead.
So make sure to tune in and find out how these three strong characters merge together when Alyssa Milano debus on 3’s hit comedy series, My Name Is Earl screens Sunday, March 9th at 8pm.

Sunday, March 9th at 8pm on TV3

Earl Hickey (Jason Lee), once a guy who did a lot of bad things, is now a firm believer in karma and seeks to right the wrongs he once committed in 3’s hilarious hit comedy My Name is Earl, returning Sunday, February 3rd at 8pm.

When we last saw Earl, he was finally getting his life together. He landed a sales job, got an apartment, obtained a GED, and even had a girlfriend.
Then, his pregnant ex-wife, Joy (Emmy winner Jaime Pressly), was facing mandatory time in prison for stealing a truck, this would have been Joy’s third strike. Earl did not want Joy to have to leave her family, so he took the blame for the crime and ended up getting sentenced to two years in prison.
The third season of this hilarious series will see Earl in prison, according to executive producer Greg Garcia.

“We’re not gonna come back on episode one and suddenly he’s pardoned. We’re not gonna buy it all back. We’re going to take advantage of where we put him and have some fun with it. We promise not to gyp the viewers; this wasn’t a dream sequence. He’s actually going to jail!” Garcia told Associated Content.com.

With Earl in his new environment, prison, there are going to be many new faces in this season.
Michael Rapaport (The War at Home, Boston Public) will play a fellow inmate of Earl’s named Frank. Garcia says, “I have always wanted him to do a guest spot on ‘Earl’ and now that he had the time, we found the ideal role for him. He fits perfectly into our world and we’re very excited to have him join us.”

Alyssa Milano (Who’s the Boss?, Charmed) has also signed on for a multiple episode run. Milano will play Samantha who would be living as a productive member of society if Frank had not introduced her to the exciting life of crime.
She meets Earl when she comes to visit Frank in prison. A fateful moment from Earl’s past will have him teaching her about the ins-and-outs of karma.
Meeting Earl will inspire Samantha to trade in her life of crime for a life of redemption. She could end up being a possible love interest for Earl, as their lives become more and more intertwined.

Craig T. Nelson (Coach) will also join the cast, playing a funny, videogame-loving jail warden. He will be the warden of Camden County Jail where Earl is serving time. His character is especially interesting because he is married to the governor.

The third season will also see Randy (Ethan Suplee) having a really hard time living without Earl. However Joy will offer to take care of Randy while Earl is in prison to pay Earl back for taking the blame for her crime.
Make sure to tune in to My Name is Earl, premiering Sunday, February 3rd at 8pm on 3, as Earl begins his jail sentence and finds out that life is not easy behind bars.

SERIES FINAL

MY NAME IS EARL

Earl commits the ultimate good deed in the season finale

Sunday, July 8th at 8pm

Heavily pregnant Jamie Pressly stars in the season finale of My Name Is Earl, where Earl (Jason Lee) commits the ultimate good deed to help Joy, screening Sunday, July 8th at 8pm.

Earl’s life is finally back on track – he has just attained a GED (American high-school academic qualifications), a job, a new apartment, and an unlikely love interest.

Nothing can seemingly stop Earl on his road to maturity, except of course, Earl himself. Joy (Jaime Pressly), on the other hand, puts her future in the hands of the law as the trial finally arrives. But does Earl have a self-sacrificing plan up his sleeve?

Joy was apprehended in Mexico by Dog The Bounty Hunter, guest star Duane Chapman, a real-life ex-con who has his own reality TV series where he pursues actual criminals who’ve violated the conditions of their bail.

29-year-old Pressly is a big fan of his show, but his wife got the wrong idea when Pressly introduced herself to the bounty hunter.

When I first walked up to meet him, they introduced me and I said, ‘Hi’ and his wife goes, ‘Keep your hands off my man’. I went, ‘Don’t worry honey, I’m pregnant’. She thought, because Joy is always pregnant that I had a pregnant suit on. And she said, laughing, ‘I’m so sorry’ and then we became like best buds.

However, pregnancy hasn’t been a complete laugh for Pressly who has openly expressed her fatigue and frustration.

“In your first trimester, you could fall asleep standing up, you wake up so tired. The first and third trimester is when your body does all the baby growing. Second trimester is bliss.

“And then it goes to the third trimester, when you want to absolutely stab your eyes out with a pencil because you can’t believe how fat you’ve gotten, your hips hurt and you can’t sleep at night. You want to eat your hand off every five seconds. It’s like, ‘Get this child out of me!’”

After filming the finale, Pressly gave birth on May 11, 2007 to her first child, Dezi James Calvo.

The plot lines in the first season of the Emmy Award-winning comedy were all about getting the main character’s storyline off the ground. The second season was delving into the lives and backgrounds of the other characters, says Pressly.

“Randy, Ethan’s character, and Joy, my character were both much more involved this year and much more involved with the story lines, which I think helped carry show and keep the viewers interested.”

Tune in to the season two finale, to find out how Earl attempts to save Joy from time in jail on the hilarious My Name Is Earl, screening Sunday, July 8th at 8pm.

Guest star John Leguizamo plays a Mexican kidnapper

Emmy Award-winner John Leguizamo guest stars on this week’s My Name Is Earl as a Mexican kidnapper who abducts Earl (Jason Lee) as he tries to rescue Catalina (Nadine Velazquez), screening Sunday, April 15th at 8pm.

With Earl feeling responsible and Randy (Ethan Suplee) heartbroken that the love of his life is thousands of miles away, the duo decide they must rescue Catalina.

While travelling through Mexico on a bus, armed gunmen board the bus from behind and kidnap Earl, and while being interrogated by the kidnappers he tells them about Catalina.

Turns out one of the kidnappers, Diego (Leguizamo), is her uncle, and another is her little brother, and they can take Earl to Catalina, but not without committing a few crimes along the way.

The 42-year-old Colombian and Puerto Rican comedian, actor and producer Leguizamo is famous for his roles in Romeo and Juliet, Summer of Sam, Moulin Rouge and a role on the television series ER.

In 1998 he won an Emmy Award for his Broadway debut in Freak, a one-man show, which was filmed for HBO by Spike Lee.
