Prime Rocks

One of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the British Invasion, Tom Jones has defined male rock star sexuality to the point of self-caricature. His rags to riches story began in the slums of Wales, took him to London and then all the way to sold-out Vegas concert stages.

Tom Jones – known as The Voice – is the sexiest, wildest and most confident singer in the world. Born in the Welsh working class town of Pontypridd, Tom sang his way out of the poverty of a coal mining town to become the biggest superstar on both sides of the Atlantic. His rise to fame began when he recorded the smash hit “Its Not Unusual” and soon Tom Jones would dominate the Swinging London music scene. His appeal was universal, his raw power, raw sex and raw energy cemented him as a true international superstar and by the 1980’s Tom Jones ruled Las Vegas. With his son as his new management, Tom Jones’ popularity rose once again as he attracted a whole new generation of fans with his new image and sound.

He has managed to transform himself from a teenybopper heart throb to a serious singer/songwriter. George Michael’s radiant ballads, funky dance tracks and smooth soul singing have established him as a top star. Despite a string of embarrassing drugs and sex scandals, George Michael is still as popular as ever.

British music and cultural icon George Michael is that unique pop star with global appeal and generations of admirers. From the time he and a friend formed a high school band and later launched as the 1980’s duo “Wham!”, his star ascended, crashing only periodically due to personal excesses. A meteoric solo career followed on the heels of his band days. In 1985 he became the first Western pop act to perform in China. His distinctive vocals and soulful deliveries have sold 67 million albums worldwide and produced a dozen bona-fide hits over a 25-plus year career. His temperamental personality has led to professional feuds with both record labels executives and fellow artists. A strong appetite for drugs, alcohol, and sexual encounters has resulted in multiple scrapes with the law but kept his name front and centre for pop culture consumers.
