Hathaway and Renner hosting SNL

Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Renner have been added as hosts of Saturday Night Live this month. It will be Hathaway’s third appearance on the show and Renner’s first.

666 Park Avenue set damaged

The sets for new horror drama series 666 Park Avenue have been damaged due to storm Sandy this week. “I went to check them out on the night of the storm at 10pm and they were under 6 feet of water – the entire complex,” said studio owner Peter Kapsalis. “It wasn’t in very good shape. The main sets stayed in place even with the water rushing in [but] everything is extensively damaged.” Continue reading »

2 Broke Girls has added Cedric the Entertainer to the cast for its second season. The actor/comedian will play a character called Darius, who is the son of one of the characters.

New projects from Glee creator

SNL adds three new cast members

Charlie Sheen’s comedy Anger Management has had 90 more episodes ordered by FX, so long as it manages to stay above a certain ratings threshold. Martin Sheen (Charlie’s dad) will also become as a series regular.

Spartacus exec Steven S DeKnight is developing a new series for the Starz network in the US. The network president said: “Steven DeKnight has an overall deal with Starz, and he just returned from Hawaii where he shot a proof of concept piece. It’s not a pilot. It’s just a scene or two for a show that he’s developed, that we are very high on.”
