12:00pm Thursday, January 1 on TV One

Like sport itself, TV ONE’s new Sunday afternoon sports show is all about participation.

Bernadine Oliver-Kerby returns to sport to present Skoda Game On from 1pm every Sunday which culminates in a robust hour of analysis and debate and promises to be credible, slightly irreverent and certainly an entertaining way to finish the weekend’s sports viewing. Former Sunrise Sports Anchor, Rod Cheeseman joins Oliver-Kerby in the studio to present Skoda Game On – Extra Time between 4-5pm. They look back at the week in sport and invite special guests and sporting celebrities for their opinionated and humorous take on the sport topics of the day.

Viewers are invited to interact online via the show’s website and by tweeting their thoughts on the show’s live twitter feed http://twitter.com/skodagameon

It’s been almost a decade since Bernadine was courtside but she says people still remember her love of sport, “years after making the transition from sport to news, I still find myself occasionally referred to as ‘the netball lady’! Some things just stick. What a challenge and thrill to be part of a team bringing other sports fans interviews, analysis, a bit of fun and a lot of Waikato bias!”

The first episode of Skoda Game On features the NZ Ocean Swim Series, preview to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa featuring qualifying nations and host preparations, Triathlon, Indy Car Racing ahead of Skoda Game On – Extra Time between 4-5pm.
