Star Wars

It began in the theatres, where actors would tell stories on stage. Then came film and the ability to record acting and storytelling anywhere, resulting in the big screen movie theatres and eventually the small screen television sets in every home. We’ve now come even further thanks to technology where anyone can set up a home studio and with the right software, can produce their own stories, or reimagine existing ones. Like this:

Adam Driver (Girls), Daisy Ridley (Mr Selfridge) and John Boyega (24: Live Another Day) will join Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow alongside the original stars of the Star Wars movies, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker. Girls actor to play Star Wars villain

The first cast member to be revealed for Walt Disney Studios and Luscafilm’s highly anticipated new installment of Star Wars has been revealed.  Adam Driver, who plays Hannah’s on again, off again boyfriend on the HBO/SoHo series Girls, has been tipped to play the villain in the next movie.  Episode VII is due to open in theatres on Dec 18, 2015.
