The success of Game of Thrones has boosted the number of hotel bookings in Morocco and Iceland around the areas where the show filmed. The Moroccan town of Ouarzazate has seen an increase in bookings of 100% since scenes with Daenerys Targaryen were feature don the show.

The “happy moustached face” of Cleveland Brown and his family and friends are back for more in the second season on Comedy Central. The Cleveland Show follows the Brown-Tubbs blended family headed by Cleveland and his sassy high-school-sweetheart-turned-second-wife Donna. The rest of the household includes Donna’s boy-crazy teenage daughter Roberta, the 5-year-old with an old soul Rallo and the lovable-but-not-so-bright Cleveland Jnr.

Glee star Darren Criss and the Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie get animated in The Cleveland Show, screening on Thursday, June 7 th at 8:30pm on FOUR. This week’s The Cleveland Show sees Cleveland, Jr. join the church choir just so he can spend time with a pious choir girl named Vanessa (voiced by returning guest star Fergie), prompting Jewish boy-turned-choir boy Hunter (Criss) to challenge Junior for Vanessa’s affections.

Cult director David Lynch is guest starring in this week’s unmissable All New The Cleveland Show, screening on Thursday, February 24th at 8:30pm on FOUR.

Responsible for such cult classics as Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, and Mulholland Dr., Lynch will be joining the hit animated series as bartender Gus, who, according to series creator and the voice of Cleveland Brown, Mike Henry, “was basically drawn to look like Lynch. He’s somewhat peculiar, as you could say about David Lynch, but he’s the coolest.”

“You know, I’m not sure,” Henry continues when asked if David Lynch was even aware of Family Guy or The Cleveland Show before he was cast as a guest character.

“I am a huge David Lynch fan. I have been greatly inspired by his true uniqueness,” he continues.

“Back in the day, when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do after college, I saw Wild at Heart and I got in my car and moved to California.”

“I figured if this guy could do something this weird and hilarious and awesome then I’m going to go for it.”

As for how he got the eccentric Lynch to sign on for the role of Gus, Henry says: “I talked to him on the phone, I told him about the show, and he was completely down. And so he’s our eccentric bar tender.”

Entourage to conclude next year

HBO has confirmed that hit series Entourage will come to an end mid-way through next year. The series, which follows actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his crew around LA, will run for one more season which is expected to be short, possibly only six episodes.

Timberlake on The Cleveland Show

Actor/singer Justin Timberlake has recorded a scenes for The Cleveland Show in which he voices a gay character in the animated series. It is understood that Terry falls for Timberlake’s character in the episode which comes out in the US next February.

Bourne director to helm MTV pilot

The Bourne Identity director Doug Liman is to direct a new comedy pilot for MTV. Liman, whose previous film credits also include Mr and Mrs Smith, will helm the pilot for I Want My Pants Back which follows a group of young men struggling to adjust to adult life.

Michael Jackson-themed Glee episode?

I Michael Jackson-themed episode of Glee is believed to be in the pipeline for next season with Idol host Ryan Seacrest tweeting this over the weekend: “Just talked to Adam Shankman from So You Think You Can Dance and got a pretty heavy hint that he’s directing the MJ episode of Glee!”

Third season for Cleveland

The Cleveland Show has been given a third season by Fox. The Family Guy spin-off has just completed its first season in the States and had already been renewed for a second season before it debuted.

New series from E!

E! is launching a new series set in a celebrity PR agency. The show, entitled The Spin Crowd, is executive produced by reality star Kim Kardashian and is an off-shoot of a half-hour special which was aired in February that performed well for the entertainment network.

Glee books on the way

A set of authorized books based on the Glee series are set to drop later this year. The books will feature the characters from the hit series and are planned to be released in conjunction with the premiere of the second series.

Trump wants Lohan for Apprentice

Donald Trump is seeking out troubled teen actress Lindsay Lohan for his next season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Lohan is in talks with the producers of the show over the appearance but due to her heavy acting schedule nothing has been confirmed yet.

Meltdown on The Hills

The Hills cast member Kristin Cavallari has reportedly melted down while filming for the “reality” show. She claims producers tried to make her kiss a gay man in order to start a fight between her and fellow cast member Brody Jenner. This show just gets more fake by the second.

New show for Carson

Ex-Queer Eye For The Straight Guy star Carson Kressley is developing a show for Oprah Winfrey’s new American cable network OWN. The show is said to be a makeover concept which will be “devoted to self-discovery, to connecting you to your best self and the world.”
