Tonight, Sky Sport 4, between 8:10 and 8:14pm, a replay of Crowd Goes Wild was airing. After the show went to the ad break, an ad aired, then what appeared to be a portion of off-camera banter between Andrew and Mark was shown. The cameraman was zooming in on various things, the producers were talking in the background. In that clip, very soon after the clip started, Andrew clearly said the words “f*** off” to Mark as the two talked to each other.

The clip lasted about a minute, then an ad was shown, and then the exact same clip aired again, from start to finish, before another couple of ads, then the show resumed as normal.

seven-liveFollowing on from yesterday’s weekly analysis of the 7pm current affairs shows, last night’s episode of Campbell Live was the lowest rating episode for a Monday night since March.

Sure, The X Factor has now finished and tuning into TV3 on a Monday night isn’t as imperative for some folk as it used to be but surely an entertainment show wasn’t the reason for the surge in ratings.

Last night, while TV One’s Seven Sharp had a bit of fun live from Oamaru, Campbell Live sunk its teeth into what is potentially the biggest story of the year – the Fonterra contamination scare.  However, if the ratings are anything to go by, people don’t seem to be that concerned. Shortland Street claimed four awards, with 7 Days, The Crowd Goes Wild, 3 News and Campbell Live taking home two apiece.

Shane Cortese (Nothing Trivial, The Almighty Johnsons) and Amanda Billing (Shortland Street) were deemed to be the best actor and actress the country has to offer.

Shortland Street’s Ben Mitchell is apparently the ‘sexiest male’ while Go Girl actress Anna Hutchison is regarded as the ‘sexiest female’. Continue reading »
