Illegal trail bike riders and off road vehicles can cause massive damage to land. In Cockburn WA, rangers get hundreds of complaints every year about these hoons. The damage they cause can cost tax payers thousands of dollars every year, and they can put lives at risk. But these hoons are very tough to catch. Now the rangers are clamping down, determined to get the trouble makers.

Also tonight, a derelict house in Queensland’s Logan is home to two tenants. Melissa and her partner have been living in this rundown house for 11 years. They survive without the basic amenities most of us take for granted. There’s no kitchen – only an outdoor ‘stove’; there’s no glass in the windows; there’s no hot water. Officers from Logan Council normally deal with property owners, not tenants. But this case is so awful that Council Officers have no choice but to intervene. But how far will they have to go to ensure the safety of these tenants?
