The Graham Norton Show

8:30pm – Friday, December 24 on TV 3

This week sees funny man Graham Norton celebrating Christmas the only way he knows how – with a very special, very naughty, Christmas themed The Graham Norton Show, screening on Friday, December 24th at 8:30pm on 3.

This week’s The Graham Norton Show special, featuring interviews with Matt Smith, Matt Lucas, and David Walliams, is a traditional Christmas episode – with a twist.

Norton explains that the goal of any episode is always laughs – in a naughty sort of way.

“We think about what’s funny rather than what’s shocking,” the comedian explains.

“We don’t set out to shock. We set out to amuse. But it’s just a lot of things that make us laugh do tend to be quite rude and a bit, yeah, school boyish.”

And a big part of the fun is watching the celebrity guests react to that school boyishness.

“I think a lot of celebrities are sort of nervous, thinking something awful is going to happen,” Norton explains.

“But I think, by and large, if you talked to any of the celebrities that have been on the show, they will say they had a nice time – unless you bump into Harvey Keitel.”

Hopefully this week’s guests; Matt Smith, Matt Lucas, and David Walliams will prove to be less prudish than the Pulp Fiction star.

Make sure not to miss them when The Graham Norton Show Christmas special screens on Friday, December 24th at 8:30pm on 3.

8:30pm – Friday, December 3 on TV 3

The Graham Norton Show is coming home to 3 when the hit talk show rolls into its latest season on Friday, December 3rd at 8:30pm on 3.

Now in its eighth season, Graham Norton, the multi-award winning comedian and host, presents his talk show based on the people, trends, stories, and aspects of celebrity culture that interest him most.

He’s entertaining audiences with everything you won’t see on the news from celebrity guests’ anecdotes and silly stories buzzing online to the unique quirks and obsessions of his audience.

“It’s not big. It’s not clever,” jokes the Dublin-born comedian.

“It’s the sort of rubbish you get drunk at parties and laugh about, but with celebrities and an audience there as well.”

As well as this trademark Norton humour, viewers can also expect comedy monologues, celeb chat, eccentric stories/characters and some good old-fashioned weirdness!

Guests this season will include: Justin Bieber, Bette Midler, Daniel Radcliffe, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Joan Rivers, Pet Shop Boys, Charlotte Church, James Blunt, Rhianna, Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

Make sure not to miss the first of these A-listers when Charlotte Church, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Russell Howard join Graham Norton for a chat on The Graham Norton Show season eight premiere, screening on Friday, December 3rd at 8:30pm on 3.
