The Walking Dead

TWDS3_Gallery_Yard_Rick_5327.101920When you think fast-tracking, do you think that means “faster than the usual 6 months” or do you think within hours of its US broadcast?  Fast tracking these days tends to mean that if a show airs in the US at 8ET (12PM here) then seeing it screen here at 8:30pm (Eight and a half hours later) isn’t unthinkable and certainly not impossible.

32 Hours later, while much faster than what is typically the case, is still far too slow for those hard core fans who I can only assume this fast-tracking is supposed to be for.  I am convinced that those fans will still be downloading and watching at least 24 hours before TV2 screens it.

5/10 for effort but I don’t think it’s far enough.

Zombie fans rejoice: The Walking Dead is back with an all new series!

In the action-packed season premiere, after several months on the road, the group finds the prison and fights off walkers to get inside. Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies), thinking Rick (Andrew Lincoln) hates her and also fearing for her unborn child, confides in Hershel (Scott Wilson). Meanwhile, Michonne (Danai Gurira) tends to a feverish Andrea (Laurie Holden) as they seek safer refuge.

Finding a way inside the prison, the group gets separated. Hershel searches for Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and gets bitten on the lower leg by a walker. Rick, thinking it’s the best way to save Hershel’s life, goes to extreme measures and the commotion draws other living prison survivors to their location.
