x_factor_kelly_rowlandSimon Cowell will sit alongside three women on the judging panel for The X Factor USA next season.

It was confirmed today that former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and Latin singer Paulina Rubio will replace LA Reid and Britney Spears on the show.

Rowland is fresh from her stint on the panel of The X Factor in the UK while Rubio has experience as a coach on the Mexican version of The Voice, La Voz… Mexico.

Joss Whedon has hinted at what to expect from his new S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series. “It’s not about murder, and it’s not about crime, and it’s not people looking into their own belly buttons,” he said. “It’s about people who are trying to help each other, and that’s one of the things I loved about comic books. They had costumes and the villains were cool [but] they stood for something, and I like doing a show that does that. We’re trying very hard to be true to [Marvel's] ethos and also to the structure of their universe, so it is definitely a Marvel show.”

7:30pm – Thursday, December 20 on TV 3

It’s the week we have all been waiting for – the final two episodes of The X Factor USA are here!

The X Factor USA concludes its season on Thursday, December 20 th at 7:30pm with the remaining acts performing in a final LIVE show, followed by the two-hour results show which will see the winner named on Friday, December 21 st at 7:30pm on 3. This week’s The X Factor USA finale will see the series’ top contestants having everything to sing for, as they vie for the hearts and votes of the U.S. public. “I’m going to tell you this, because you probably haven’t heard the news yet,” Simon Cowell, the creator, executive producer, and head judge of The X Factor USA says about the competitions’ final stage. “The winner is guaranteed to walk away with $5 million in cash. The $5 million is guaranteed.”

But it’s not just the final contestants who have something to prove – Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have all placed their professional reputations on the line through the mentoring of their acts.

So which judge will emerge the victor? Whose dream career is about to start? Find out when The X Factor USA names its winner on Friday, December 21 st at 7:30pm on 3.

7:30pm – Thursday, November 22 on TV 3

This week sees the search for the star or group worthy of a $5 million recording contract continue when The X Factor USA screens on Thursday, November 22 nd and Friday, November 23 rd at 7:30pm on 3. Following last week’s Results Show, only the best are now left! Drawing from their experience, the judges will coach these acts in their individual categories on what to sing, what to wear and how to “own” the stage.

The judges will also critique the acts, but ultimately it’ll be the U.S. audience who will decide who has the X factor and wins the largest prize in TV history.

Britney Spears has appeared to confirm that she will return to The X Factor USA next season. When asked on the red carpet if she will be back, she replied: “Yes, definitely”.

If your favourite performer didn’t make it through – there could still be a hope. This week sees The X Factor USA introduce its Wild Card stage when the hit series continues on Friday, November 2 nd at 7:30pm on 3. The series’ Wild Card stage will allow one of this season’s best contestants one final chance after each judge – Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato – picks their favourite ejected contestant to compete for the $5 million recording contract.

U.S. audiences will then vote for their favourite “Wild Card” contestant, making them the series’ 13 th contestant to go through to next week’s performance stage. Make sure not to miss all this when The X Factor USA enters this all important stage on Friday, November 2 nd at 7:30pm on 3.
