Back after a visit to New Zealand’s shores, Tyra continues her talk show on TV2, with a mix of celebrity interviews and provocative chat.

On Monday, Whitney Port drops into the studio to chat about her reality show The City, and reveals all about her relationship with her former co-star Lauren Conrad. On Tuesday, Tyra launches a ground-breaking social experiment ‘The Gay Kingdom’, which explores the hierarchies and prejudices that exist in the gay, lesbian and bisexual communities.

Wednesday sees Tyra throw a divorce party for her studio audience, which is entirely comprised of formerly married women, and surprises one divorcee with a head-to-toe makeover. Then, Tyra introduces the newest batch of cyber stars on Thursday – kids whose YouTube videos have turned them into international sensations. Wrapping up the week on Friday, Tyra explores whether Obama’s presidency changing the image of black men.

This week on Tyra, the supermodel gets within biting distance of the stars of Twilight.

On Tuesday at 11am, Tyra talks with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, the heart-throb stars of the hugely successful Twilight movies about a teenage girl who falls in love with Pattinson’s vampire character. Tune in to see what happens when Tyra asks Robert to bite her neck, and the teen star’s reaction to being presented with Twilight-themed underwear.

Elsewhere on the show, rapper Eve stops by for a chat, and introduces her new clothing line, and later in the week Tyra speaks with couples in crisis who have come to the show to make a very important decision – forgive their cheating mates or forget them.

Talk show host Tyra Banks spends the hour with celebrity sisters – Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, this week on Tyra.

Getting comfortable on Tyra’s couch, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian give some insight into what life is like as stars of their own reality show, their love lives, rumours and more. Kim shares her feelings about beau Reggie Bush and reveals what she’d say when and if he asks her to marry him. Also, Khloe opens up about her DUI arrest.

Lastly, Tyra has some fun with all three of the sisters as they play the Kar’dishian’ game and dish the dirt on each other for a change.

Coming up later in the week, Tyra looks at the social implications of obesity, and people’s attitudes around gay marraige.

Showbiz extraordinaire, Tyra Banks, takes on home makeovers this week on her daytime daily talk show, Tyra.

Tyra expands on her popular ‘Tailored by Tyra’ series from Season Two by making over viewers’ living spaces. First, Tyra surprises a 15-year-old girl whose mother was in the process of redecorating her bedroom before she died in a tragic accident. Tyra visits the teen in her home to discuss her mother, how she is dealing with her death and what she had planned for her bedroom. In keeping with her mother’s vision, Tyra transforms the room from a young girl’s room to one that reflects one of a young adult.

Then, a single mother of two, who was left financially strectched after her husband left the family, gets a surprise visit from Tyra who will make-over their entire apartment. Tyra also shows her viewers the amazing transformation of her New York studio closet and dressing room.

Featuring topical themes and special guests, the show focuses on empowering young women, and encourages them to reach their goals and achieve their dreams.

Tyra gives young women the ‘girlfriend’ they want to hang out with, and the role model they need. The talk show features stories about everyday people mixed with celebrity interviews, hosted by model and award-winning talk show host, Tyra Banks.

Today, Tyra sits down with Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester from the new TV2 hit series, Gossip Girl, to dish the dirt about dating, bratty moments and what really happens on their New York set.

Other guests include musicians Rihanna and Keyshia Cole. Keyshia talks about working working with the biggest names in the music world and how she feels about being compared to Mary J. Blige. She also opens up about the moment she found out she was adopted and her thoughts about her biological mother who has been in and out of jail.

At just 34, Tyra Lynne Banks is well on her way to emulating the entertainment empire of her idol, Oprah Winfrey; and TV2’s talk show, Tyra, is the star’s most personal project yet.

Tyra started modeling when she was 15-years-old on the catwalks of Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, and New York. As well as appearing on the covers of high fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle; Banks was the first African American woman on the covers of GQ, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and the Victoria’s Secret catalog. Banks retired from modeling in May 2005 to concentrate on her television career.

Banks’ first appeared on television in the fourth season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, in which she played an old friend of lead character Will, and was in eight episodes throughout the series. Other screen credits include Felicity, MADtv and the film Coyote Ugly. Her first television show, America’s Next Top Model, debuted in 2003, and through her own production company, Bankable Productions, she launched her Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show, The Tyra Banks Show, in 2005.

In its sophomore season, Tyra received six daytime Emmy nominations, including ‘Outstanding Talk Show’ and Outstanding Talk Show Host’; among other awards. In August 2007 she won the Teen Choice Award for ‘Choice TV Personality’. Tyra continues to prove her worth as a role model, as she is one of only four African Americans and seven women to be repeatedly ranked among the ‘World’s Most Influential People’ by Time magazine; plus, Forbes magazine included her in their ‘Celebrity 100’ list in 2006 and 2007.

The Tyra talk show features stories about everyday people mixed in with celebrity interviews, much like the early format of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Under the slogan “Every woman has a story… and it happened to Tyra too”, Banks infuses her interviews with insights into her own life.

Tyra’s forthright style and honesty makes the show the place women want to be to discuss topics that are important to them, as well as have fun learning about fashion beauty and health. Her show is also the place celebrities want to go to have a great time with an enthusiastic audience, and this season will see appearances from stars including; Nicole Richie, Clay Aiken, Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Donald Trump, Mary J. Blige, Hilary Duff, Diddy, Janet Jackson, Cindy Crawford and Heather Mills.

This week on Tyra begins with a superstar interview: pop-star Fergie from Black Eyed Peas is in the studio on Monday to spend the hour discussing her life and career. Fergie opens up about her past drug use, her rise to stardom and her boyfriend, actor Josh Duhamel.

The rest of the week is just as exciting – on Tuesday, Tyra gets viewers to open up to her about the secrets that are destroying their lives. Wednesday’s show proves you don’t have to be stick thin to be a model, with Tyra hosting her first ‘Thick and Sexy Top Model’ contest. Thursday’s show is hard-hitting, with four women talking about how they have managed to kick their addiction to crystal meth. Then another pop-star closes the week, with Tyra getting former American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken to address the ‘big question’ all his fans want to ask.

Tyra returns to our screens this week with her unique and entertaining show full of advice and hot topics relevant to every woman.

On Monday, Tyra gives all women a wake-up call in a show all about Sexually Transmitted Diseases. A young, HIV-positive women comes into the studio to raise awareness, and experts give advice on how to keep yourself safe, how to ask the right questions of your doctor, and how to seek treatment.

On Wednesday, Tyra lifts the lid on today’s celebrity-obsessed culture, meeting two young men who took their obsession all the way to the operating theatre. Then she has some fun with a Paris Hilton fan – testing her to see if she can tell a look-alike apart from the real thing! Then, still on the topic of celebrity, the fabulous Janice Dickinson is on Friday’s show, discussing her life. The supermodel, author and TV star confronts her dark past, opening up to both Tyra and TV2’s Dr Keith Ablow.
