The actor was sitting next to Michael Caine for an interview with an American network and while Caine discussed their new movie Now You See Me, Freeman appeared to be dozing off.

The former Flight of the Conchords regular and occasional 7 Days panellist will feature in Keep Calm and Karey On alongside Kelly Preston.

The project centres on Karey (Preston), the “clean-nosed black sheep in a family of petty thieves, drug addicts, and narcissists”. When her husband (Darby) is sent to prison, she focusses on raising his kids and her adopted black son and giving them a normal life.

The executive producers of the new American mini-series The Bible certainly don’t think so.

Mark Burnett and Roma Downey have said it is “utter nonsense” that the actor who plays the devil in the series was only cast because he was supposed to resemble the US president.

“This is utter nonsense,” Burnett and Downey said in a statement Monday. “The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor.
