Prison Break Finale

August 5th, 2009

9:30pm - Wednesday, August 5 on TV 3

They've broken out, been the subject of a manhunt, been imprisoned and broken out again. Now the run for Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and all the other Fox River escapees is coming to an end. Prison Break screens its series finale on Wednesday, August 5th at 9:30pm on 3.

The show's final season has followed brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, along with a Homeland Security agent (Michael Rapaport) working to take down the Company, the shadowy firm that initially framed Lincoln and set the whole thing in motion.

This season felt like a natural end point for the show, reveals FOX Entertainment chief Kevin Reilly. "To keep it going was going to be, creatively, really stretching the concept," he tells Zap2It.

Where's it gone?

February 27th, 2009

What's happened to Prison break just at a crucial point?

Sat to watch if Michael managed to carry out the final important part of the whole plan of this series - and to see if he lives - and if they got caught!  Only to find it wasn't on - though was listed in TV Guide!

Now see it's not on, on 4th March either!

Does anyone know when it will be continuing?

This is what's happened with so many shows lately - just disappearing mid-series!!!!!

TV 3 ain't no hero of mine

February 24th, 2009

Well it looks like ratings yet again really is everything.

According to the TV Guide for 25th Feb that I have in front of me the second half of this seasons run of Heroes, followed by a new Prison Break are on tomorrow. I just pulled up the live freeview EPG to discover we have Die Hard 2 instead.

Whilst I do enjoy the Die Hard series of movies, I'd much rather be watching Heroes a couple of weeks behind the US air date. Shame on you TV3.

I can almost forgive you for showing the second season of Underbelly next week in the Heroes time slot, but sadly not quite

Prison Break cancelled

January 14th, 2009

It's a decision that many have been expecting since the second season after it seemed the show was being ludicrously bled for every ounce of ratings it could muster but it's finally been announced.  Prison Break will not get a fifth season.

Fox has four episodes left to air in the US but has hinted that several extra episodes may be shot to tie up any loose ends.

How do you feel about the series coming to an end?
